Are you looking for AUTHENTIC Mexican food on Long Island? Look no further you’ve found your spot. I just recently moved to the area a year and a half ago and I can’t believe i didn’t find this place sooner. I love their tacos , salsas, aguas frescas and everything else i’ve tried so far. Their Pancita(menudo) is delicious . The lengua tacos are amazing and one of my favorites and their agua de jamaica is freshly made. So happy i found this place and I am definitely becoming a regular customer.

Azteca Deli in Westbury is another excellent authentic Mexican restaurant. You may have seem my past posts about other Mexican food establishments in Westbury. I’ve also reviewed Azteca in the past but all those times I was picking up food. Today I finally stopped by for lunch inside the Deli/restaurant. The sitting down experience totally kicks ass!!! I love the vibes here. Fast paced happy Mexican music called Norteno blasts from the speakers above. The Aztec themed colors and artworks are on the walls. There are gods myth and legends in this place as the very friendly owner spoke to us about less known Mexican travel destinations. The complimentary starter appetizers of sliced cucumbers, radish, and Tortilla chips show off the authenticity of this Mexican restaurant. We ordered Birira Tacos, Pancita (menudo) tripes soup, and a Chucharrone Guisado which is a stewed simmer down deep fried pork served with rice and beans with green sauce. The hotsauces, salsa, pickled onions, and condiments are so good here. We had these $7 huge drinks of Horchata as well as Jamaica(Sorel) very delicious and generously presented.
The festive Mexican music here adds happy touch to the delicious experience.

Very authentic Mexican food here. My favorite are their soups. Menudo, Goat soup, and Pozole. Love their tacos and homemade totillas. I highly recommend!

Food is fresh and Good. I ordered Torta, Chicken Taco , Steak Taco, Chicken Taco, Chicken Quesadilla . Prices are reasonable. Wish the tacos had a guacamole on it. I will definitely go back.

I ordered tacos from them three different types 1)Cecina 2)Enchilada 3)Tripa and was very expensive almost $20, unfortunately when I got home I opened the bag and saw i had four tacos, all wrapped together and no way to tell the differences. The #2 taco was so nasty salty unedible, #3 had a nasty charred burned taste, unedible, #1 was unflavored and so tough, the sauces were good and spicy and the ziplock bag added with tacos had cucumbers (yucky) and radishes and limes. I played myself going there so alot traffic going on there and wanted to give them chance… I’m so over that, not going back ever… . WORST TACOS EVER AND EXPENSIVE
