Chicken tenders were burnt in appearance . The enchiladas (1steak and 2 chicken) and chicken baritone were lacking in flavor. No flavor to the beans or the rice either . Not up to their usual standards. Very disappointed!!!!!

I hate to be making this review because I love this place so much but tonight is my last night eating here. I ordered my food and brought it home and while eating I found a dead roach in my food. They refunded me my money but barely offered an apology. And after they refunded it they just hung up. I would avoid this place. I will be making a report to the health dept as well.

This is a nicely run, small husband and wife restaurant operation. The food has been good each time we’ve been there. Glad to see this kind of restaurant not far away from us. Yes they are observing The Cove in seating arrangements and wearing masks so that part is good too. Prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent. I definitely recommend it, and it’s worth the money. Two thumbs up.

I recommend the 50$ fajita family meal. It tastes like they cook it all in restaurant, not from a restaurant supplier.
A steak is simple, but it is delicious. This food is simple but delicious. Good guacamole, cheese, rice, tortilla, and chips.
I did not eat inside the restaurant (covid). I cannot judge on the experience or how nice the staff is. I assume both are great.

Chips were warm and crunchy, salsa was fresh and I’m trying my first Shrimp Taco. Oh yea……that Dos Equis was ICE COLD. Not bad for a 10 lunch today.

We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem. The cleanliness was superb. It looks like there was a fresh coat of paint on the walls and the floor was very clean as well. The chips and salsa were great. The salsa was homemade and the chips were fresh and warm. My hubby got the steak fajitas $18 which he enjoyed. (See photo; that’s steam coming off the food and hot plate) The steak was a little tough but the flavor was good; also served on a hot plate. The refried beans were the best we ever tasted; made in house not from a can. I got the ribeye and vegetables $25. The steak was tender and seasoned well. The veggies were hearty and well cooked (carrots, squash, zucchini and potatoes) I would definitely recommend. Our waitress was very friendly and her mother worked in the kitchen. Our bill was a little over $50 with drinks.

I have given this place several chances and it seems like every time I go it gets worse and worse. this last time I went I only got a drink and appetizer. I ordered the queso and a margarita. I had to send the queso back because it looked and tasted like it came straight from a can, not fresh and nuclear orange in color. The flavor was a lot like cambells condensed cheddar cheese soup, and also cost 7 dollars when a can of bad cheese cost less than a dollar.
I also had to send my margarita back because it had several fruit flies In it. I seriously wish I could like this place because I live right down the street but I don’t think I can give it another try after this last time.
