This place is great. I walk in the second time in my life and the waitress calls me by name and asks if I’d like the usual. Karaoke Jock the same. You’d swear you’d walked into an episode of “Cheers”.
For Karaoke heads, this place is a dream on Tuesday evenings. The queue to sing is rarely more than five deep. The Karaoke software is Karafun, so we can look up and practice the songs ahead of time, AND we can log on to the Karaoke Jock’s machine and request songs from our phone. The crowd, and the staff, is super appreciative of everyone from novice to rock star. I would recommend this place for karaoke for anyone of any experience level.
Tuesday is Karaoke night -And- Taco Tuesday!
Several pics attached. Cellphone pics always make night inside pics look like a well lighted classroom. That’s the cellphone effect. The place is nicely and appropriately lighted, not brightly flooded as the pics might suggest.
I’ve stopped going here overall because the service, food and atmosphere aren’t enough to make me overlook the inflated prices. It shouldn’t cost me $30 to drink two beers here. Also, if you’re a woman, you’ll get leered at by the dirty old regulars who post up on the west side of the bar.
Server was friendly and helpful and offered several suggestions from the menu.
I would go back for the Brad (the photo of the Brad is the sandwich cut in half- we shared it)
Update: 9.16.23
Learned that ownership has recently changed. They are repainting a couple of the walls, and added some white tables. The menu prices have gone up a couple of dollars per item. Haven’t re-tried all the food items for changes, but we had fries, chili, and onion rings which were all okay. The atmosphere is nicer than it was previously.
My wife had a salad, and I had boneless chicken nuggets or wings. Service was very good by Christy B. The food is mediocre, although the place seems to be a good little bar hangout.
They also have pool tables, etc.
