If you’re searching for the true essence of Indian cuisine in Northern Ireland, look no further — I just had the most incredible dining experience at what I can confidently call the best Indian restaurant in the whole region.
From the moment I stepped inside, the warm aroma of freshly ground spices wrapped around me like a welcoming hug. The staff were genuinely hospitable — not just polite, but attentive in a way that made me feel like a guest of honour rather than just another diner.
Every dish was a celebration of authentic Indian flavours — rich, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. The butter chicken was silky and tender, the biryani fragrant with saffron and fresh herbs, and the naan fluffy yet crisp at the edges, straight from the tandoor. Even the vegetarian dishes were bursting with flavour, proving that every item on their menu is crafted with love and skill.
What set this restaurant apart wasn’t just the food — it was the experience. The atmosphere was warm and elegant, with Indian music softly playing in the background, enhancing the cultural immersion. I left not only with a satisfied palate but also with the feeling that I had been on a short trip to India without leaving Northern Ireland.
The dishes are packed full of flavour, the most authentic Indian I’ve ever had.
If I had to critique something it would be that the portion sizes aren’t the biggest but I’d take that just for the taste alone.
Also their Nann bread is exceptional, best I’ve had anywhere in the world.
