An absolute favorite!! The place is the cutest with all of the plants and light decor. All the portions are generous and the food fresh. The service is always so friendly and often stick some extra pita in with my leftovers. I come often and hope to try more of the menu! The crab stuffed flounder is definitely a favorite so far

The service was fenomenal and the waiter was great and friendly, very nice atmosphere and atmosphere was nice, the food was stellar, the beer was great! I had the five kebab feast, and let me tell you, was that a feast? absolutely! The grilled meats were stellar, the rice was delicious, the sauce that came was great! The soup that came with my meal was really good, and the bread was also on another level! Highly recommended!!!!

We walked in for lunch around 1 PM and there was only one table occupied. We were pleasantly surprised with the light emanating from the interior as we walked in and how large the segmented dining areas are. We chose to sit at the back where the skylight was so we could have a view of the entire restaurant. Although the restaurant has seen better days and looks tired and worn, we still appreciated how their overgrown pothos plants wound around their Santorini decor & the roof tiles and blue walls and seats reminded us of the beautiful islands of Greece. As for the lunch menu, there were plenty of options to choose from. We got the flounder wrapped with feta and spinach. Delicious.
Lamb tava was good. Lamb was tender. Chicken soup had a lemony tang but overly salty and Campbell soup like. The breads weren’t my favorite but Margarita was good. Julio, our waiter, was fantastic.

This place is definitely very unique. Plants everywhere hanging from the ceiling. The decor is kinda outdated but the plants make up for it. The staff is very nice.
However, the food was very disappointing. We got the combination mixed grill with all the meats and the hot appetizer combo platter. We’re big eaters and love to try everything. Non of the meats were flavorful. They were very dry and had a burnt after taste. Nothing we had is worth coming back here.

Ayhan’s seems to be a local favorite and with three restaurants in a two block radius, I can see why. This visit was for dinner at the Shish-Kebab restaurant. It is much larger inside than I thought from the outside. There are several dining rooms so you can ask to sit in a specific section I’d imagine. Service was good and the food was quite good. The portions were huge!! I thoroughly enjoyed the grilled octopus and my lamb shank with Bulger wheat instead of rice. So tender, fall off the bone. The vegetables served with it were good as well, generous portions and plate sizes. My friend had the grilled Pompano, lots of meat and grilled well. The American Saganaki cheese appetizer was really delicious. Eat it quickly before the cheese starts to harden. The aluminum plate it’s served in only keeps it warm enough for a fast eater. Menu selection is quite large so do look at it thoroughly before deciding. They were out of the taramasalata unfortunately but we enjoyed the eggplant dip instead. And the lentil soup was a hit.

The quality of food here has dropped tremendously I haven’t been here in 15 to 20 years with my family and this place used to have the most amazing chicken and rice the real Turkish type of chicken and rice that was so tasty and delicious that nothing else to really compare. Not even Halal. The quality of food has dropped here tremendously. Staff is very good and friendly but the quality of food has definitely drop. I ordered the baby lamb chops and it was filled with fat. I wouldn’t come back here again. This place looks exactly the same as it was 15 to 20 years ago no renovations or updates whatsoever. I am disappointed because this used to be a family tradition of mine and I’ll probably never come back here ever again the only reason I’m giving it two Stars just because I have good memories from 15 years ago. And I’m an avid eater I try new restaurants all the time that Google recommends me.

My girlfriend and I decided to try this place for dinner on July 4 and as soon as we sat down we noticed a dead bug on the table and immediately got up and left. Table and napkins were dirty. We were only two people and they sat us at a table for 5 and didn’t even clear the other place settings off. Needless to say the staff has no clue on proper hosting or dining ediquite. The waitress failed to offer us drinks and just gave us water. Unacceptable for being in such an upper class area like Port Washington

This restaurant was lovely! The indoor atmosphere feels like a greek garden and is decked out with lots of plants. Service was fast, and accommodated us when part of our party arrived an hour later than expected. And the food was all good, especially the tiramisu!

The service, the cleanliness, the flavors all on point. But the filet was fatty (= -1*). Would definitely recommend and eat there again.
