I have only been here once. I went for lunch. It was very good. The rice is delicious. The sauce on the enchilada had a hint of something different. Not bad just different. Not sure if it was something like smoked paprika or something else. I will go back and report what I find out. If you are shopping at the mall or in the area you should check this restaurant out.

The tacos Berea are not worth the $18.00 Even though you get one side with the tacos, it is still not worth it. The stuff is Nice day, speak folks, Spanish and English. Set atmosphere is OK. We ate as a family of 3 and is $25 per person

Pascual ordered a margarita for like 13 bucks. He said the Camino real 5 Dollar margarita was much better. The Aye toro ribeye is thin but he said it tasted good. I had the Hawaiian burrito it was marginal. You’ll see in my photos the place is empty at dinner time on Saturday night.

I enjoyed my lunch here. It was very clean, not too crowded, and the employees were friendly and helpful. I ordered the lunch ACP burrito and it was delicious. I’ll definitely be back. *Side note, the sweet tea is delicious, but very, very sweet.*

i finally had the opportunity to check this place out, after hearing rave reviews about their quesabirria tacos — which lived up to the hype! the meat was tender and so flavorful, and the broth that comes with it; wow! i also had a toro margarita, which had just the right amount of sweet and heat. the service was excellent, everyone was very nice. their churros were terrific too, ate them too quickly for a photo!

So we were in the mood for Mexican food while at the beach and came across this place. We were in the town for the start of the week so went on a Monday night around 8:50 pm-9:00 pm. Upon entering we were immediately impressed by the mural and decor of the restaurant. Everything was bold, vibrant. The light fixtures and even riffle door handles, and long horns above door. It’s in the details. We were greeted within 10-15 seconds and asked ” Booth or Bar” we selected booth. The restaurant did not have any patrons at the time but didn’t stop us. We were asked our drink order, and both chips ” very good/not salty like most places ” and salsa were both brought out. We were deciding on our order and the waiter was super helpful in explaining menu items. We also tried the Queso with the chips and it was a win for sure! Our food came out within 10 minutes of placing the order and everything was fresh and hot! We loved the marinated chicken in both Toro Burrito and ACP! All and all the experience was a 4/5 star! Would definitely go back. If you in the Wilmington, NC area and you’re looking for dope Mexican Spot! Aye,Toro is your spot!

Wait staff was great, place is gorgeous inside, Quesabirria Tacos was one of the best Mexican meals I’ve ever had, Toro Margarita was tasty. Overall a really good Mexican place without a lot of frills.. the only reason not 5 stars was the prices could have been a little cheaper but I’ll be back regardless.
