Absolutely stunning experience at Ayat today!! The food was incredible – we got the Labneh, Salata Filistini, Mujadara, and Fattat Jaj. All were delicious.
The service from every single person in there was also amazing. I would absolutely recommend coming by and giving this place a try!!!! The general manager is great and was immediately checking in, I didn’t catch her name. Our server Larrenze was very attentive and kind, and I believe even the owner may have come by the table.
At the end of the meal, another server (also did not catch his name) overheard me discussing that I would be cooking dinner tonight and even sent me home with a pizza on the house. Outstanding food, service, vibe, and overall experience

First time in Dallas, Texas! The food here is absolutely amazing. It tastes home made. Living in Los Angeles, CA for 40 yrs, I was blessed with neighbors from the Middle East. I have tried many restaurants, this one is absolutely amazing! If you’re in the mood for some delicious food. Stop here!

Richardson is known for having a warm and vibrant Arabic, cultural diaspora. The food here never dips to middling, and often exceeds expectations. Ayat bbq is without a doubt, the best Arabic restaurant in Richardson and DFW. From the ambience, to the service, to the quality of food, it is unbeatable at this price point.
When you enter, you are greeted by an olive tree that lives in the center of the dining room. Your waiter seats, you and immediately the warm and kind nature of those who operate this restaurant is made clearly evident. Our waitress, Batou, made our experience phenomenal. Her recommendations, banter, and kindness, was quite well received.
A lot of times, people of Middle Eastern or Asian backgrounds will tell you, you either get really good service, or really good food, choose one. That is very much not the case here. The food was full of flavor and color, felt healthy and vibrant, varied textures and temperatures. We got the cold mezze and hot appetizer platters, and they were quite filling. The Muhammara and tabbouleh were stand outs, and the combo of the hummus with the tabbouleh left nothing on the table.
We also had a meat platter entree (mixed grill) that showcased a variety of meats. Surprisingly (which is a testament to how great everything is), the lamb was my least favorite. The beef kebab…no words can do it justice.
Trust me, you just have to try it yourself.

Ayat is easily one of the best Middle Eastern spots I’ve tried in a long time. The food tastes fresh, authentic, and made with real care not rushed or overly commercial.
The shawarma wraps were warm, packed with juicy flavorful meat and creamy garlic sauce. The mixed grill platter was the highlight tender chicken, kofta, and lamb over perfectly seasoned yellow rice. Everything was smoky, well seasoned, and cooked just right. The hummus and dips were smooth, rich, and clearly homemade, especially the hummus.
The atmosphere is clean and modern but still cozy, with a relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal.
Great portions, bold flavors, and solid service. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

Our dinner experience at Ayat was excellent. We went on a Tuesday night in Ramadan and we had dates and bread, zaatar and evoo at our table with water. When the food came it was amazing! My favorites were the hummus, shawarma, pizza, chicken kabobs, grape leaves, spinach phyllo cigars…everything was flavorful and fresh…you could tell they used high quality ingredients. Our server Carl went above and beyond for us as well. Highly recommend Ayat!

I had a wonderful time at Ayat. I was so excited when I heard they were adding a Dallas location and it absolutely did not disappoint. The hospitality was incredible and all of the staff were so kind. The Ramadan menu was a wonderful surprise, and a great way to try many different dishes with family. I personally got the hummus and fattoush for my appetizers while other family members got the cheese rolls and babaghanoush (which by the way was the best I’ve ever had). For my meal I got the Fattat Jaj which was extremely flavorful and a huge portion. We sat at the bar facing the kitchen and were very entertained watching the staff gracefully work together to get all of the food prepared. Every person we interacted with was so nice and went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time. Genuinely one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in a long time. 10/10 recommend. I will be back, and often!

We visited Ayat at 4:30 on Friday. The restaurant only had one other table with guests so it was quiet in there. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside and the staff was very friendly. The manager came over and asked us how everything was and as we expected it was delicious! We ordered the hummus to start and it was smooth and creamy! The warm pita bread was perfect! We also ordered the large chicken kabobs to share and it was plenty! Photo is missing two pieces of chicken because we were too eager to eat! The chicken was juicy and flavorful! The rice was cooked perfectly and tasted good! The salad left a little to be desired –
Not my favorite and felt like a filler. Overall though, we enjoyed our visit and the food was delicious! Highly recommend checking it out!

Our first visit to Ayaat in the Dallas location was delightful. From arrival to departure, the staff’s hospitality was exceptional. They frequently checked in to ensure we were comfortable, and despite the busy Ramadan Iftar time, the service was impressively quick. The food portions were incredibly generous! The Mixed platter, fattoush salad, and Kunafe were outstanding! Ayaat Dallas is among the best Middle Eastern restaurants we’ve visited recently. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!

Food and service were absolutely amazing from start to finish. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they really care about quality and the overall experience. Husam made the visit even better. He was incredibly hospitable, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. That level of service makes a huge difference. Definitely will be back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

We were greeted immediately when we walked in and then we picked our table on the patio. The table was large size— we filled the table with the food because we tried all but one dish on the menu. For Ramadan they have a special menu and each person pays $45, and it comes with one entree and two sides. The food was sooo sublime. My husband said he didn’t know where to look and what to try. The food was so delicious but because we were fasting we didn’t even finish half of it. We ate the rest with our eyes and took it home. The mansaf was really really good and they weren’t skimping on the lamb either. The lamb was cooked to perfection. The mskhan was my favorite. The presentation was fantastic and everything was made the same way it would have been if it was your mom making it for you at home. Just sublime. Even the mixed plate quality was utter perfection. The servers were all very nice and came and asked if we liked the food. The bread, the zatar, the olives…. You can tell everything is sourced well with care and love. Even the to-go bag is really well designed and nothing is overlooked. I found out that they flew the servers to New York and trained them there. This place is amazing and if you want to go you should go before everyone knows about it and you have to wait for a table. So glad you guys are here, welcome to Dallas!! We will be back 🙂
