This is a a small food stand that’s indoors. 1st time eating here and they were welcoming and patient as we tried to figure out what we wanted to try off their menu. The menu consists of Arepa meals and empanada meals, salads and side of tostones, sweet plantains, rice, elotes, etc. We ended up getting a pulled pork Arepa meal and a chicken empanada meal with a side of tostones. Food was exactly as described and tasted great!

I booked Ay! Arepa food truck for my wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made, it was AMAZING. Ernesto was a total pleasure to work with leading up to my wedding and communicative, kind, and enthusiastic. The arepas got absolute raves at my wedding. So many guests complimented the food, and called out the arepas. My husband says the flavor was delicious and they were speedy in bringing them out and so many guests complimented them. I sadly didn’t get to eat much at my wedding but the next day when settling up our bills we stopped by another restaurant from Ernesto, Rubamba, and the arepas there were delicious. The food tasted like it was made with care and love. Guests told me it was the best food they ever had at a wedding – highly recommend! A lot of our guests also mentioned how nice Ernesto and the servers at the truck were.

I’ve heard some glowing reviews about this spot, so I decided to check them out when visiting the shops at Yale. I’ve had a lot of authentic arepas and empanadas, and these didn’t stack up to that standard unfortunately. The chicken on the arepa was dry, and the pieces of corn in the arepa tasted like they came from a can. I feel bad because I really wanted to like this spot, and the staff were nice, but I don’t see myself returning here over the authentic spots I know.

Amazing food. Great value for the money, the service was warm and customer oriented. The beef empanadas were the best empanadas we have ever had, and we live in Florida so we have had our share of empanadas before. The sauce was also great. Highly recommend, delicious food and budget friendly!

The food is de-li-cious. So far, I’ve only had the Arepa meals and it is like a home cooked meal, so full and satisfying. My favorite Arepa meal is the Arepa Birria ( they only serve Arepa Birrias on Sat. And Sundays). I do desire to try other meals but I just adore the Arepa Birrias. To Conclude, I highly recommend this eatery. So delicious.
