We usually go to the other location. First time here. Rolls tasted okay but seemed a little bit dry. Atmosphere is not as warm and friendly as the location on Nevada.

The sushi was great and the service was top notch. Very tasty and creative rolls and specials. I was a bit disappointed in the tuna tower which is my absolute favorite sampling of sushi around town. There are better towers out there but the other rolls, specials and the prices make it a worthwhile stop. You will not be disappointed.

Awi Sushi is great sushi fast. They have a huge menu with a ton of options to appeal to almost anyone. Highly recommend their Crunchy Roll.
The staff are very efficient – from the time we ordered to the time the sushi was set in front of us was less than five minutes. The rolls were perfectly made and presented. Tasted delicious.
Prices were very reasonable and I think they do take out too.

Anytime I have a hectic day this is an easy choice. Fresh and perfectly ripened ingredients, and an incredible staff that puts so much effort into their food that I feel genuinely nourished and comforted every time.

I have been to another one of their locations, and had a beautiful experience, dame at this one downtown! Delicious, fresh, quality sushi, the shumai and dipping sauce are amazing, and the staff was kind. I will definitely go to both N Nevada and S Tejon locations for sure. Love it! Good vibes

AWI Sushi Express is easily my favorite sushi spot in Colorado Springs, and the location on 9 South Tejon Street is the one I always go for. There are two locations in town, but this one is closest to me and has never let me down — especially when I want something fresh, fast, and flavorful. Even when I order through DoorDash, the quality is always on point.
Most recently, I ordered the sashimi salad and a California roll, and everything arrived beautifully packaged and incredibly fresh. The sashimi salad blew me away — it came with generous, high-quality cuts of fish on a bed of crisp greens with a light, perfectly balanced dressing. The fish tasted clean and buttery, and the portion was filling without being heavy. It’s one of my favorite things to order when I want something refreshing but satisfying.
The California roll was also excellent. It may be a classic, but you can tell when it’s done with care — the rice had the right texture, the crab was flavorful, and the avocado was fresh and creamy. Nothing felt rushed or pre-made, which I appreciate, especially for takeout sushi.
What really sets this location apart for me is the consistency. Whether I’m grabbing lunch in person or having dinner delivered, I know exactly what to expect: great flavor, solid portions, and a quick turnaround. It’s clear the team here takes pride in their food and puts care into every order, no matter how it’s being served.

We love sushi!! We actually make our own sushi because many sushi spots have declined in flavor, in creativity, in portion, in taste, and freshness. We came here on a whim. We walked in and they were friendly, fast service but when we saw the sushi it looked BOMB!!! Then the first bite from the last was the BEST sushi we tasted in the Springs!!! We ordered 6 different roles and all had different textures, flavors, and all had the perfect amount of rice versus fish and sushi fillings. Truly truly the BEST!!!! We found our favorite sushi spot!!! Also prices are affordable and you get the value and quality your looking for when paying for sushi!!! Get your sushi fix here!!!!

Took my little brother here for his birthday. I liked this place because their prices are right. We ordered 6 rolls and 2 drinks for $57 ! Sure, of course you could get better quality sushi somewhere else but for higher price but This place didn’t disappoint me. They brought out the sushi fast and beautifully ! The sushi we ordered was yummy and I highly recommend the dynamite roll. YUM! While we’re almost done eating, they come to check up on us and give my brother some birthday Mochi and a super cute to-go box! If you’re every downtown craving sushi, this is the place to go.
