Firstly, we were told it was a 35 minute wait. That wait ended up being roughly an hour and a half. Extremely disappointed in that. However, our waitress was amazing and very attentive. All of the staff was attentive in fact. Everyone was so hardworking. My grilled chicken sandwich was very good with great flavor. I was satisfied.

No wonder I’ve heard of them before. The staff is working so hard to present a memorable and pleasurable experience. Look at these James River Oysters: 1/2 Peck, steamed and raw for a reasonable price. We sat at the bar for hours, feeling welcomed by the locals and visitors. We can’t wait to go back to this OBX location.

Lunch for two people. Amazing streamed shrimp hush puppies Long Beach Ice Tea and our bartender of 17 years Ashley all were great. What I always like in a bartender? 1. Great service 2. Great drinks 3. Good conversation Will be back. It’s a dam shame. The upstairs has been closed for five years only because they can’t get enough staff to work. I heard it’s amazing with the views up there.

Friendly, attentive staff and amazing food! A casual atmosphere for families and a great bar – perfect for locals and a must-stop destination for vacationers! Whether you’re ordering the scallops or sitting at the bar putting away beer and oysters until they have to roll you out, if you’ve been then you know and if you haven’t you need to go! We make it a point to visit at least once every single time we’re in town and we’ve never been disappointed! If they’ve got a wait – wait. It’s worth it.

Came in for lunch to try and beat the crowds but this place is busy! Arrived around 1 and had a 30-45 minute wait but they were able to seat 3 of us in about 15-20 minutes so it wasn’t bad. Just be prepared to wait if you have a larger group.

This place is worth checking out. Food is fantastic, reasonably priced and the service was great. John our server at the bar was knowledgeable and friendly and you could tell he loves his job! Definitely one for the To Visit list when you come to the Outer Banks!

We were at the Outer Banks for our 1 year anniversary. We stopped in to grab a bite the first time I had the shrimp, scallops, and crab cakes it was fantastic. This time I had crab dip and the scallop dinner. They were cooked to perfection this is a must to place to stop in and try.

Amazing bisque! Well spiced, perhaps a bit spicy for some but really tasty, creamy and full of flavors. The highlight for me were the shrimps. It’s so rare to find shrimps cooked and spiced to perfection. Awesome service as well.
