over the last 4 years, our motorcycle group travels from the northeastren region of the Adirondacks to the Awesome Country Farmhouse. We always enjoy the journey but can’t wait to arrive at ACF. Some of the group spend time shopping for their favorite items in the store. All of us come for the wonderful food that is cooked to order.
We highly recommend a visit…. you won’t be disappointed.

A perfect combination of country charm, home-made salsa, sauce, dips, cookies, pies etc. Weekly lunch/dinner specials Eat in or Take Out, multiple frozen Entrees to choose and a deli counter for fresh subs or sandwiches.
It was a browsing-heaven for me & my husband. Then, we went back and made our choices. I’ll admit some choices were instant!
The Staff was friendly, informative (because it was our first visit), welcoming!
And the name “Awesome Country Farmhouse” is exactly what it is!!

This place has a bit of everything. When walking in may be a bit overwhelming but everyone was very friendly. We end getting some home made pickles and sauce, some candy, a local farms chocolate milk ( nothing like what you can buy at the stores) Had 3 bunnies outside in a coop which my kids loved looking at. Overall a fun little store would stop in again.

I was very pleased with the whole operation. She needs more help but the food is great! We were pleasantly surprised at all the choices of food on the buffet. She has tons of stuff to buy for your yard, gifts and clothing. Great place to go if you’re looking for something to do for breakfast, lunch and shopping!! She also offers free samples of her canned goods. Yummy!!

I just want to start off by saying that I never do reviews. But I will do this one. First off the food was very good, it was plentiful and they did do more than I asked for. and they were helpful and nice. There was one problem when I did speak with the owner she made it clear that it’s a minimum of 25 heads for a party. We spoke and I was told that we could pick what we wanted off the menu that was provided to me. So I made the pics. Once again we clarified that it was a 25 person minimum and I was charged on a deposit for that. I told her 35 and she said you would only have to pay for the additional 10 heads. Okay perfect thank you. Everything changed we got there. sure enough that all changed to a 50 head deposit minimum but then why would you charge somebody four 25 heads not 50 in the beginning. Whatever, go up there to pay the rest and wasn’t sure about the tip after that. I was told Snicker that we know our value buy the owner. So I was lied to and charged double. Besides that everything was great. Learned my lesson I will never deal with anybody without a contract again.

This is a hidden gem in Boonville. It’s in the old Agway building near the railroad tracks. In the front half, they have lovely arts and crafts, plus preserves, salsa, maple syrup, and old fashioned candy (many current ones as well).
The back half contains many more assets and crafts, but my favorite part is their deli. Their breakfast sandwiches and burgers are delicious. And they aren’t stingy with their portions. On a Saturday (not sure if all Saturdays), they were making cinnamon sugar donut holes! They were amazing! You get a plastic container, and you fill it with a many as you can or want for $8 (I think). It’s worth the trip just for the donuts!

Choosing Occasions Barn by Awesome County as our wedding venue was a wonderful decision. The rustic charm of the barn combined with its picturesque surroundings created a truly magical atmosphere for our special day. From the moment we visited, we were impressed by the flexibility it offered for personalizing our event. The staff at Occasions Barn were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the planning process, ensuring every detail was perfect especially Loraine and Christine. Our guests raved about the magical ambiance and how seamlessly everything flowed from ceremony to reception. It was a very hot day and the venue does not have air conditioning, but our coordinator made sure everyone had plenty of water. The food was also exceptional. Thank you, Occasions Barn and Awesome County, for providing the ideal setting for our unforgettable wedding celebration!

Thank you to every single person that enjoys the experience of our store. Recently we made several community members upset when we purchased 2 more buildings for expansion. They are doing all kinds of crazy stuff. Please take their negative review/reviews with a grain of salt and visit for yourself. Our place is really cool! We can not control what they say. Our place is really Awesome! So are most of the people of Boonville!

We were just passing through and stopped here and what a great choice that was! We got a sandwich and a taco bowl and they were both delicious. The staff was super nice! It’s also dog friendly which was nice.
