Corn Dogged by the Flames of Disappointment
I came to A&W for that nostalgic combo of crispy corn dogs and frosty root beer. What I got instead was a culinary crime scene. These corn dogs weren’t just burnt—they were charred relics from a forgotten BBQ apocalypse. I bit into one and swear I heard it whisper, “I’ve seen things…”

This A&W restaurant was exceptionally clean and provided very attentive customer service. It was my first time there, and I had a fantastic experience. We were the only customers, and their ice cream was incredibly delicious. I would even say it’s close to being better than McDonald’s. They offer a variety of flavors for their ice cream cones. I haven’t tried their food yet, so that’s something I’ll consider in the future. Overall, I would give this place a perfect score of 10 out of 10.

1. Where’s the beef?
A. There’s a little bit.
2. Where’s the flavor?
A. Apparently somewhere else because my wife’s burger didn’t have any flavor at all, and my BBQ Bacon Crunch Burger had some Crunch, but not any more flavor than my wife’s burger did. We were both sorely disappointed with this A&W locations food.
At the other A&W locations we’ve been to, their Chili Coney Dogs, it was impossible to eat the coney dog without using a spoon to get the chili off without making a mess. Here, we saw others who ordered the chili coney dogs, and all of them were able to eat it by picking it up and eating them in their hands without any spilling at all!
We tried their A&W Rootbeer Float, and the only good thing about the float is that we got the float for free, but the float was as flavorless as the rest of our order!

Very good, first root beer float and loved the frosted glasses!! Be careful you will get a volcano reaction when the ice cream falls into the root beer

Nice clean place. The food is pretty good. The people working the counter were awesome! I would go back just to have another conversation with them. So funny, and have good recommendations of what to try. Of course the root beer was amazing. Always loved A&W root beer. Over all a good fast food experience.

Pretty good food. They should have their papa sauce on the side be a full cup. I have to get 3 extras for a meal cause they’re only 2oz in a 4 oz cup.

Wouldn’t go back. Was driving thru on a trip. Food was nasty. Had better A/W food and service in Minnesota. You have to get your rootbeer from a pop machine. Other A/Ws come to your table and serve you rootbeer. Hair in the wrapper of my dad’s burger. Stopped here with four others. No trays they bring you a bag of food. There should be trays served with your food.
Saw an incident with a young boy worker who passed out and an older woman worker was scolding him and said does this happen all the time. She was taking his pulse like she was a nurse and gave him a small glass of water and said drink this and get back to work.

What a nice clean & spacious A&W! All of the food was so good! But the cheese curds & root beer floats are the BEST!!!
