I wanted to come write a review specifically because of an experience I had this afternoon with one of the employees here. A young woman was working the register when my group arrived. We are from a day program that works with disabled adults, one of the goals we work on is money management so we often come to fast food places to help our individuals purchase lunch or a snack. One of the individuals in my group was being a little bit difficult today and it took a lot of convincing for him to understand that he couldn’t order everything he wanted with the money he had available to him. The cashier was so understanding and patient with him, she went over options and tried to help him get the best option based off what he could afford. I really appreciated how calm and kindly she spoke to both myself and the individual in my group, we don’t run into a lot of people who are as patient as she was. I wish I had gotten her name but I didn’t think about it until after we had already left.

This place brought back many memories of a younger time in my life. The recipe has maintained the flavor of the root beer. but the employees were less than ‘focused ‘ on the A & W products. The restaurant shares space with another ‘fast food establishment’ & it seemed to have priority over the A&W. I enjoyed my root beer float, but will make one at home next time.

Food is smaller than usual. Customer service is good but understaffed. Food is bland. Will not provide sauces unless you pay for the chicken. Chicken little was half an ounce in weight. Bathroom and main room are filthy. Root beer is good. Wouldn’t recommend, go to the McDonald’s or the Little Caesars instead. It’s not worth $15

Best root beer floats in the world. The corn dog nuggets are wonderful too. Most everything is pretty darned good and reasonably priced.

Lately I been getting root beer freeze from a & w cause they’re really refreshing. Sometimes I ask for extra ice cream because the ice cream makes it thicker. Yea I get it it’s an extra charge but there’s been multiple times where I get charged for extra ice cream and its not added into my freeze. I will not be returning to this a&w for this simple and common mistake.
