A&W in Wheatland, WY was a great stop. The food was fresh and tasted real, which really impressed me. On top of that, there’s plenty of semi-truck parking, making it a perfect stop for drivers on the road.

The service was great, people were friendly and helpful (hasn’t always been the case, so kudos for improving on that). The food itself is meh and quite overpriced for what you get. The atmosphere is functional (they have tables and chairs), but its soooo drab and boring. Not trying to knock them too much but when their tap root beer is out of order, it just adds to the list of things that take away from the visit.

This location shares a large building with a gas station.
The staff were not very friendly but, they weren’t rude either. You could just tell they really didn’t want to be there.
They do sell A&W mugs at this location. While there isn’t a gigantic selection of foods to choose from, it was well prepared and tasty. I do not recommend the chicken tenders, if your trying to watch sodium intake as they are quite salty.
While the atmosphere is not very appealing, as it is part gas station, you can still sit down and enjoy your meal.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here again but, if I was out this direction I would stop even if just to get some delicious A&W Rootbeer.

Wow! It’s another mixed review!! We were so happy with the sweet ladies working and the food tasted good. But for 2 combos added up to $35, and it was tiny fries! Like kid sized fries and the burgers too were tiny. I don’t know seems too expensive for what we got.

I frequent this particular establishment regularly and consistently find the food to be of excellent quality. The service is always prompt and efficient, further enhancing the dining experience. The staff members consistently present a welcoming and cheerful demeanor, which is greatly appreciated. The consistency in both the product and the service quality is a testament to their commitment. I highly recommend this location for a satisfying meal.

04-05-18 Excellent bacon cheeseburger. Fries good too. Best of all I discovered this location makes…. ” Makes” their root beer on site. Wow. Food not know that. Friendly staff. Knowledge, lots of sitting space and a good amount of truck parking. Very nice truck stop as well.

I can’t comment on the food or the atmosphere here but the staff is something you sure can’t count on to be reliable. 20 minutes before 9 they were screaming out the back door to me in the drive through that they were closed. Don’t count on them being open during the posted times.
