Very, very disappointed. This store only offered waffle fries but it was not depicted in their menu and we did not know until we received our order. The fries were cooked in grease that tasted old. I paid extra to order cheese fries like I always do at the one at home and there was barely any cheese and I could not finish them. I could not even eat my cheeseburger. Service was just okay. They were polite. The drive through and parking lot was absolutely horrible. Would absolutely not recommend.

Got the 2 for 8 double cheeseburgers but only got single cheeseburgers and they were cold. The employee told me to wait in parking spot 1 but it was already occupied with a car so I parked in spot 2..the car in spot 1 left and another car pulled in..they got their food before I did, I brought it to the attention of the worker before she walked back in the building and she said that she was confused and was trying to sort things out. Also got LJS and the food was cold as well and I waited thinking it would be fresh. The green beans and corn were horrible..all around Bad service and plus the building looks like its about to fall down

This location have been here for years. Last time I visited was months ago and when I did visit, the drive thru was really quick. I ordered food (chicken and cheese fries with 2 extra hush puppies, came to about $18). By the time I paid for the food and got my card back, she was handing my food to me. Food was ok, not healthy but still good. Nothing was missing and they got my order correct the first time.
I haven’t been inside this place in over 20 years so I can comment on the inside. The building does look old on the outside and needs a update, but the food is still good.

Tomkio H was super nice and patient working the drive thru. The food was excellent and cooked to order. Just some random empty boxes out back but still a wonderful establishment. Will be back and choose it over McDonald’s or Burger King any day of the week!

I unfortunately cannot remember the name of the lovely lady that helped out us that day, but she was awesome. The food was amazing. My family and I came in unexpectedly and she treated us so kindly. We are from a different city and love our A&W but this one was just a little bit better. Something about Kansas Thank you sweetheart. God bless you.

We waited patiently for someone to take our dine in order. Finally a worker did take our order. He asked him to read it back which he did. He brought our order over to our table but it was wrong. We pointed this out and he apologized and sent it back. He later brought us our order again and he realized it was wrong this time. He went back to replace it again and still was wrong. He did offer to try again but hearing the cook not very happy we decided this wasn’t a good idea and were afraid our order might be tampered with if he tested fate and sent it back again. No refund was offered and we left. We definitely will let others know not to stop in here

The food was hot. Fresh and the wait in the drive-thru was fast. I didn’t get a single crunchie, so I drove through again and got a fat box of fresh hot crispies.
And the cashier Mariah was super friendly.
Gave 4 stars on the atmosphere only because I went through the drive-thru, not inside. But the parking lot was very clean.

Staff was arguing with manager. Manager complaining about no show employees. Very unpleasant smell like it needed a good power washing tacky counter tops. Glad I was only picking up food a friend.

We love the food at this Shawnee Mission Parkway location, right across the I-35 bridge, first right. I can only eat one piece of fish, lots of crumbs, two hush puppies and one cole slaw, and I am FULL!. They have the BEST cole slaw ever. The drive-through window staffers are INCREDIBLE and fast! We go here every week.

First time trying this location. My one and only impression- Super Salty! I usually just get A&W menu items but I thought I would try the Long John’s Silver menu items; was that a mistake! No other flavor, just completely over salted food. I don’t know if this was just an off day in the kitchen or how their food is usually. Whatever the reason, I definitely feel as though I wasted my money.
