The restaurant smelled very musty and dirty. There were a million fruit flies flying around the restaurant. The root beer float ice cream was freezer burnt and wasn’t even filled with ice cream. The health inspectors definitely need to take a look at this place soon.

Food was okay. Workers weren’t to welcoming or friendly. They made me feel like it was such an inconvenience when I asked for juice instead of a milk, after I’d seen the milk was in a carton.

The guy that was running things there (I didn’t get his name) admitted he was doing it without pay otherwise the lobby would not be open to eat in – his stepson was working that time slot. He was running a tight ship – everything was clean and efficient. He was very helpful and attentive. Food came quickly. Food/drink was excellent! I am very happy to have the lobby open again! Looking forward to next time.

There not usually much to say in regards to fast food, franchises or the actual food itself. In this case there’s a bunch. Stopped in on way out of town, and had to wait at the drive-through for about 5 minutes to place an order. Didn’t appear overly busy, waited got our order taken and assumed the worst, but….. there were only three people working, all of them teen aged. Got to the window and the guy there apologized and stated things were coming up shortly. These young, hard working people were BUSY. The didn’t complain, didn’t say anything bad, they came to work and got it done. and they did a fantastic job as well. The burgers we got were all freshly made, and didn’t look like they were thrush together. My wife asked a couple questions, but not once did either person grumble or complain, just said they would have or order out shortly. Highly recommend, and will be back.

We were there this past Sunday. We got there after 3 pm. The dining room was closed, so we did the drive thru. We ordered specifically a hamburger and add lettuce. When the guy repeated back our order, he said lettuce only, but we repeated back to him to have everything that comes with it but add lettuce. He said I got it. When we got at the window and received our order, the hamburger only had lettuce. My husband was very upset, but we both decided to just dress it the way we wanted it when we got home. The 2 gallons of Root beer we received was not full. It was under 3/4. It was filled to the bottom of the gallon handle. Both of them. Our fries had long reddish hair in it. Other than that, Everything else was great . They also looked understaffed, which is why I gave a 2 star rating. We usually get great service when we come, but Sunday was a bit of a disappointment. I will try them again next year when we vacation in Minnesota.

Due to the location we have eaten here many times on the way to our cabin. This weekend was the last straw. The lobby is closed and the drive through food was terrible. There are significant issues every time we go here. For a couple of years we never received a single cube of ice in our drinks…which is great on a cold day but not so great on a warm day.
They clearly have staffing issues…which likely stem from management/ownership issues. Definite lack of professionalism on that front.
This used to be a great location to stop for food.
It’s clear that corporate A&W has no standards whatsoever if they allow this location to continue to operate. Our local A&W in Iowa is outstanding on the other hand.
We will avoid this dumpster fire until there are new owners. Once things change significantly we will definitely be back.

This location is terrible. Every time I go there, the credit card machine is down so if you don’t have cash or checks you can’t order. They clearly don’t want business because it’s been “down” on several occasions over a month apart.
The food is terrible too, If they manage to make your order correctly. The chicken is dry and chewy and my cheeseburger was cold, the cheese wasn’t melted, and the bun was dry and hard. Even the root beer is bland and almost flavorless.
The problem either fast food is it’s not like a restaurant where they can fix your order, because you usually drive away before you realize the food is wrong or awful. Who has time to go back over and over?

Good place to grab a bite to eat. Staff was friendly and place seemed to be clean. Liked how even tho it is a “fast food” place the staff comes to your table and takes your order and brings the food out to you. The best part was the A&W root beer. The glass is cold so no ice is needed and it tasted awesome! Overall a good place to bring a family and eat. I would definitely would recommend this place to anyone who asks for a good quick place to grab a bite to eat.

Absolutely disgusting. Workers were inappropriate with their language and professionalism. Hasn’t been cleaned in months. The floor hasn’t been mopped. The bathroom was so gross and hasn’t been cleaned.
The manager was unaware and not helpful at all. He is completely unable to manage the workers as the cooks were walking around in shorts and flip flops in the kitchen.
Place should be shut down do not go here. Worst experience we have ever had at any fast food.

The person that took our order was extremely rude. We were the 3rd car in line at the drive thru and it took 25 minutes to get our food. The food was warm at best. I asked for crispy onion rings and got warm 1/2 done ones. We used to love A&W. We will not be back.
