I cruised into this super clean restaurant to find it is Coney Dog day!! Only eight bucks & change for four stuffed dogs!!
The young man making them had a bunch of them to build. He was slaying it in a majorly good way!!
The picture doesn’t do these bad boys justice.
I will definitely be back for more half-off Coney Dogs on a Tuesday in the not-too-distant future.
They were delicious.

This was the first A&W I’ve been to in over 15 years and I was not disappointed. I especially enjoyed the chicken tenders. And the root beer is amazing in their frosted mugs. For this location in particular, the staff is super friendly, the place is very clean, and the food is great.

I’ve been coming here for some time now, at least once or twice a week. The food is always hot and fresh. All of the staff are well-trained, friendly, and ensure all customers have a wonderful experience.
I usually get onion rings every time with my combo meal. They are perfectly crispy and absloutely HUGE, sometimes they’re even the size of my hand! I spend about $15 bucks on myself for a combo meal and a different drink, but there’s enough there to completely fill one’s stomach. So I can promise you’re getting your money’s worth!
But nothing beats seeing Katrina (Kat) at the drive-thru window with a big smile and always excited to cash me out, along with ensuring I have everything I need with my order.
All in all, I highly recommend this location if you’re looking for a great meal, regardless if you’re local or just visiting.

Wausau and surrounding area were without an A&W for quite awhile. Those were some sad times as no ones seemED to be able to REPLICCATE their unique burgers, chilli cheese fries, and ROOT BEER! Cleanliness is always a plus and this establishment scored perfectly.

Can barely read the drive thru menu because of the sun, think I’m ordering the corn dog bites meal. Turns out i’m ordering chicken strips. They didn’t ask any pertinent questions for chicken strips like what dipping sauce I would like which WOULD HAVE CLUED ME IN THAT IM NOT ORDERING THE MEAL I WANT. 0/10 hope this location goes out of business.

Nothin crispy about my crispy chicken sandwich. Onion rings were good. The root beer is watered down. Asked for a single burger got a double.i got charged for a double. The burger was alright at best. The fries are meh. Average service but the line did not take long to get through at all.

I’m very glad that A&w is back in my location. The food was quite good but probably not worthy of four stars. There’s not really any service because you handle the food and stuff yourself. The time that I went, the atmosphere was good, but that may vary by time of day.

Burger was super yummy and fries were crispy and salty, I asked for a unsweetened tea and they gave me a sweet tea, but it was probably the best sweet tea I’ve ever had. It was subtly sweet and didn’t have that funky aftertaste
