I have never reviewed a fast food restaurant before today but I can honestly say that this specific A&W is the best fast food experience I’ve ever had. I stopped in while passing through town to use the restroom and get something quick to eat, and from the professional yet causal attitude of the manager and the kindness of the server everything was awesome. The lemonade was delicious, the mini corn dogs were solid and the curds were real curds. The service alone elevated the experience from the norm and I appreciated it enough to put it in a review. Nice job!

The food was OK, nothing special. I had fish and it was good, but the pieces are small. They gave you a lot of tartar sauce which I like. The coleslaw was fine. It’s really not a place to which. I’d probably go back and eat at, however.

My husband & I always look forward to stopping at this particular A&W which has a cool retro feel. I had the chicken strip special which came with a salad, a yummy warm roll, and a mountain of crispy fries. My husband had a burger which looked wonderful and we both loved getting our root beer in a frosty mug. And to top it all off, we had the nicest waitress. Thanks & keep up the good work!

The cheese curds here were great!! Much better than another place that uses blue spoons. They reminded me of fair cheese curds. Our server was great, she managed to get all the correct items for 8 of us on 2 separate tickets, even though we were all mixed up between two tables.

Awesome that you can still order your food from outside. They don’t put the food on the tray that hangs on your window.

If you’re traveling in the area this is where you want to go for good vibes, great service and delicious food!! AND not to mention it’s a BEAUTIFUL, old school, large A&W with outdoor car-hops and dine-in options, with table service!

I traveled from Wausau for work last weekend and came here after a long work day, open til 10:30pm!!! Yay!!!
I was OVERLY impressed with the staff and their great, HAPPY vibes!! Mostly all young peeps for staff…could’ve been out with friends on this Saturday night, could’ve been grumpy about being at work on Saturday night, but there was NONE of that whatsoever! They were laughing, high-fiving, smiling, and attentive to customers. WOW!! You guys NAILED IT!! (KITCHEN and DINING ROOM)
Jayden tended to me and did a FABULOUS job!!! What a nice young man!!
I had 3 piece Cod dinner, fries, root beer float, cheese curds and Chili. Yes!! I was hungry!!
It was ALL DELISH, hot and just what I needed(: I was also impressed that this fine establishment was generous with condiments!!
I’ll be back for sure I hope! Wish I were there right now haha

Clayton County History Hound
I stopped again yesterday 06/10/25. I really enjoy A&W restaurants, but this is by far our favorite one in this area. The staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful. Food is always fast, hot and delicious. Very clean establishment. Even the parking lot and drive in stalls are clean. This A&W should be the model of how all the others are run. Of the couple dozen times I’ve stopped, I’ve always been impressed.
