Food is amazing most generally always fresh. Never had an issue with the food. Hands down they got the best fish in town. They do got other choices burgers and chicken. I can never turn down the coleslaw at this place. However they do got the newer Fry’s.. it’s called a&w but.. I’m pretty sure this is long johns always has been.. so I usually stick with the Long John’s menu. The staff seems to be a hit and miss if they’re too busy to help more with your order, once in awhile they seem to have an employee that comes off rude.. it’s not too bad so I just overlooked it. The rest of the staff seems to be pretty good. Dining room usually good and clean and the appearance of the back area seems to be decently well kept.. however when they do get busy it may look a little rough but they deal with a lot of fried foods.. but they definitely try their best to keep it clean. The food counters are always clean.. plenty of good parking.. wheelchair yes I think in the front there’s a door, doors not automatic might need help with that. Other than that I don’t have to check my food here it is good every time I bring it home. Thanks for taking the time to read my review and have a wonderful day:-)

Normally we get great good with great service, however this last time I came in the drive thru I spent more than $60. My food tho… Not so good, food wasn’t made correctly at all and the condiments on them were sloppy, our buns were soaked in I don’t know what. Only good that came from my purchase was the cheese curds. If I’m paying $60 plus for food I’d like for it to be made correctly and at least come out better than McDonald’s.

While I love LJS, they can be a bit slow at times. You get what you wait for though and the food is good – ownership and (to a lesser degree) management is fabulous and will go out of their way to make everything right.

The worst tuff to chew hot dog I ever tried to eat, like chewing on a piece of rubber. The coney sauce was burnt and had next to no hamburger in it. And it all taste very old. I do not recomend this to anybody.

If you’re looking for an authentic Coney dog, don’t waste your time here. They serve chili dogs that taste like they’ve been kept in vinegar…yuck! When I complained I was told to go to BK if I wanted a Coney dog. (That’s a testimony from the manager!) I told them that their advertising is wrong and should be corrected. I got laughed at. So, if you drive just 5 miles south east to Gas City, you’ll find a BK. I’d rather drive to Lafayette, Indiana to the true Coney dog providers there! I miss the old USA!

I love this place ! I ordered off the long johns menu & the A&W so many choices ! We used to have one in town I live but they went out ! What ashame now we drive to Marion to eat there its really nice inside juke box & everything ! Employees really friendly as well ! I strongly recommend going there if you’re ever in the area !

They are very sweet people really jus a lil on the slow side. Had to sit threw the agonising drive thru experience twice the poor thing had the order completely wrong and forgot my darn cookies
