This A&W has some of the best root beer I’ve ever had in my life, service was nice and the employees were very kind to us!! The outdoor patio is very nice but needs some higher places to eat, (patio is pictured) and when your done with your food then you throw it behind you and it goes into the trash with good aim. Overall good experience!!

A&W/Long John Silver’s on W Broad is amazing. Fresh food every time. Nice employees. Inside was clean. The have the best ice cream and floats, when they don’t run out of ice cream. Which they do because it’s so good. You can even buy a nice mug and get pop refills for free and free floats on certain days.

I give this location a 9/10 , simply because the food was made fresh unsure if it was just because they were about to close so they had already threw everything out or because that’s something new , although the food was fresh and brought out to me which I appreciate when I pulled to the speaker to order the person who took my order seemed a little impatient and had a small little attitude when I asked for my whole order to be made fresh , let’s not let that happen again k thanks bye

I waited 30 minutes outside in the parking lot after ordering through the drive through for ONION RINGS AND THEY FORGOT THE SAUCE.. i originally ordered a chili dog too then they came out after 20 minutes saying they were out of hot dogs… i seriously don’t know what took so long especially for them to figure out they didn’t even have the hot dogs. I have never in my life have had such horrible service at a fast food restaurant all the waiting for them to not even have what I wanted and forget my sauce don’t go here you’d get better service at a sit down restaurant.

Worth the stop.
Came here for a craving, the kind of tried to ignore for a few days but couldn’t stop thinking about chicken strips so finally bit the bullet and went through the drive thru. We were pleasantly surprised at the offerings between JLS and AW with seasonal offerings and specials.
Service. Even for the drive thru, the employee was efficient, courteous and friendly. I realized its been awhile since I experienced that in any fast food place, including Chick-fil-A.. So for that, thank you!
Atmosphere. Let’s be real it’s a drive thru. Atmosphere is limited to a few categories: Cleanliness, wait time, and courtesy. Given the location, I was happy that the store, drive thru and surrounding area was pretty clean. It located in a massive parking lot so only so much you can do, but there was trash caught in barriers, greenery or the drive thru itself. Wait time was pretty minimal, again drive thru but the employee explained any wait we would need to have. We did go just before dinner so the line wasn’t crowded, yet. Courtesy ties into service above. Employee explained food would take a minute to put together, and asked how the milkshake was.
Food. Ok so here’s where we talk cravings. All this started with YouTube influencer Josh Weissman. IYKYK. he ranked JLS chicken at an all time high, and I was shocked. Chicken from a fish place, so I was curious and needed to try. I was reluctant and almost backed out of it completely but overall I kinda agree with his assessment. JLS chicken tenders are actually good! Salted really well with a good crunch, and juicy chicken… adding your favorite sauce to it would only make it better. Ok back to reality, it’s a fast food place and fat and grease are to be expected. So it’s hard to give it anything above 3 stars. Just know those are the biggest 3 stars.l out there. Rest of the food was pretty decent fries are ok not my favorite but the corn was better than expected.
Overall, I would go back to this place to order more food bc it was just good food, reasonable price for 2 people and service was great.

Easily the worst A&W/LJS I’ve ever eaten at. The staff was obviously bored and SUPER unprofessional (dropped the “F” word behind the counter within earshot of my toddler). One of the kitchen staff was coughing while plating food, didn’t cover her mouth, and wasn’t wearing a mask. The dining area was dirty and in need of update/repair. The drink machine stopped working while I was using it. There was mildew around the air vents. And the food… barely edible. The fish tasted off, and I couldn’t finish it. The rest of the food looked like it came from a 1990s dive diner. Just disgusting.

The root beer is excellent. Their other menu items are okay/average. Some things I liked and some I didn’t. I never had a bad impression of my experience so I think it was more an issue of my personal taste for what I specifically ordered and not a problem with quality. I consider them a decent choice so whether I go here depends on my mood.

The food was hot and fresh. The root beer was literally freshly made, which I didn’t know they did. Janet was the employee who assisted me, and she was FANTASTIC and friendly!! I will literally go back because of her personality and excellent service and accuracy, too!! Kudos!!
