Went through the drive through the attendant said the order would take 10 to 15 minutes. A&W Burgers are pretty good so we where willing to wait. The store was so busy filling door dash orders for dashers that where not even there yet, all while ignoring customers in the store and the drive through. Finally after 25 minutes someone told us they had not started cooking our order yet and had no idea when it would be ready. The drive through attendant then encouraged us to cancel our order. All the while order after order for dashers are siting getting cold. And other people
in the dining area are ignored. Ps signs say they make the root beer fresh every day. They don’t at this location. The company should be ashamed of this location!

Came here after a long day and wanted something quick to eat. Well it wasn’t quick. When I got there, it took them 5 minutes to even acknowledge me. Once I finally ordered, I waited 30 minutes for my food. No joke. 30 MINUTES. Plenty of workers, but all just standing around chatting. Not impressed.

So let me preface by saying I have been to quite a few LJS locations. I go to the one in Scranton tonight my wife orders a shrimp bowl(it comes with a drink I assume since the girl who rang us up gave her a large cup) My wife asks for a strawberry shake. No upcharge to the meal, Nope she now has a large soda and a shake? I ask for 8 or 12 pieces of LJS chicken just chicken no sides or hushpuppies. Girl behind counter tells me no I can’t do that. Proceeds to charge me for the meal with sides which I clearly said I didn’t want (over $50 total with the shrimp bowl and shake) again I explained I would just like chicken no sides. She again tells me she can’t do that. I said ok how about this, add a piece times 6 . Yes I can do that. She just didn’t get it. No idea of her name didn’t see a name tag and the receipt had a male employees name on it. More than 10 minutes later the 6 pieces are ready. No crumbles and little black spots on the chicken pieces. Disappointed to say the least. I have been to this location on other occasions with zero issues.

I come to A&W for a frosted mug of the real deal, original root beer, from the place it was invented, where it is still brewed fresh every day, and this mug today did not disappoint! Brooke at the counter is super-nice, we will see you again! Thanks for the assist 😉

Fish was cooked perfectly! Slaw so good! Always do a great job at this location. People stop in here and enjoy! Now my mouths watering may need to stop over for lunch!
p.s. a little more attention to cleaning tables would be nice ladt few times had to clean my own. But the cleaner is left out in trash cans, so no worries.

They were short staffed and yet they’re still serving their customers with awesomeness. Just be patient enough, stay calm and you’ll get what you ordered. Worth the wait as they say, and enjoy your food.

It was a Long John Silver’s/A&W Restaurant. The food was very well prepared. The food was hot and served quickly. The servers were friendly,polite,and most courteous. Here’s hoping when Shop Rite opens in the old Kmart behind the restaurant business picks up.
