Classic Breakfast combo.
The hash brown was really oily. There was a good amount of oil/bacon grease on my plate.
Maybe they need to let the hash brown drain more.
I ordered over easy eggs but they were a little undercooked for my liking where some of the egg white was really runny and clear.
The employee asked if I wanted jam. I said yes. I only received one jam packet for 4 pieces of toast? Usually they give 2.
You used to be able to self serve for these items but it seems they are cheaping out on stuff.
Maybe customers are wasting jam/condiments I’d assume.
Customer service was ok. I was expecting my receipt but employee just walked away.
The bacon was paper thin and overcooked.
The coffee was actually not bad this time.
The washroom was clean. The restaurant was also fairly clean.
It didn’t take to long for the food.
The music playing was a little too loud and it kept cutting out which made dinning in annoying.
Overall not a bad experience and food was ok with only minor issues.

I had a great experience at A&W today. Gurinder provided excellent customer service — very polite, friendly, and professional. The order was accurate, food was fresh, and the service was quick. Gurinder made sure everything was perfect and treated customers with respect. This kind of service really makes a difference. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

I am extremely disappointed and disgusted. I ordered a Mama Burger on July 31 and found blue mold growing on the bun after eating some of it. When I pointed it out, the staff member agreed to make me a new one — but then grabbed another bun from the exact same batch. I told him I didn’t want bread anymore and asked for lettuce instead.
What happened next was even worse: he handled the lettuce with his bare hands — no gloves, no handwashing, no sanitizing. This is a clear health and safety violation, and it raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and standards at this location. The mold wasn’t subtle either — it was a large, blue, obvious patch, suggesting the bread had been expired for quite some time. That night, I got extremely sick and felt unwell.
A&W markets their food as “fresh and quality”, but this experience clearly proves otherwise. The handling practices and food conditions were anything but fresh or safe.
A&W used to be my go-to for fast food, but after this, I’m seriously reconsidering. I’m posting this not just out of frustration, but out of concern for public safety. I sincerely hope this review is taken seriously by A&W management before someone gets seriously sick. I won’t be returning after what I saw. No one should be served unsafe food like this.

Went through the drive thru last night around 730. Ordered 2 teen burger meals and 3 piece chicken fingers meal. All the food was cold, the fries were hard & old, onion rings were cold & soggy. lastly the pop drinks were flat- Very disappointing.

I believe A&W food is the nearest to real food in fast-food restaurants in my opinion. However, I believe some of their staff needs more training, especially in their attitude. In particular the branch on Manning Road Windsor. The young lady was unnecessarily rude and shut the drive through window in my face while I was asking question. This was 8am and it wasn’t busy.

I went to the A&W on Manning. It was at night and I was starving. I figured that I hadn’t been there for a while, it would be a nice change. I wasn’t disappointed! Simran was so friendly! Very patient when I was reading the menu. The restaurant was very clean and the food was hot and fast. I would recommend this location above any other A&W location; partly because the staff was so nice.

Went through the drive-thru to order two Piri burgers and was given the wrong items. Mistakes can happen — that part isn’t the issue.
The problem started when we went back to politely point it out. Instead of apologizing or fixing it, the staff became rude, dismissive, and argumentative. We were bluntly told that we could “complain to the manager” and that there was “they are human-nothing wrong with giving the wrong items.”
That attitude is completely unacceptable in any customer-facing role. Owning a mistake and correcting it is basic customer service — not acting like the customer is the problem.
No apology. No accountability. Just arrogance.

Just went to the location at E.C.Row and Manning in Windsor, Ontario. I ordered the Mozza combo.
The sandwich was terrible…lettuce wasn’t fresh, over ripe soggy tomato, one small strip of bacon and floppy cold fries….all this for $ 16.00. What a rip off! There’s a reason this location is always empty!
