Top tier service, I’m talking white jackets and super friendly environment. Super attentive service, including full-blown table cloth changes. Food was incredible. However, portions were minuscule. The calamari was perfectly fried and tender, the ceviche was the tiniest flab of salmon I have ever seen in my life. Everything came in bite-size portions for about $40 a plate. Don’t get me wrong. The taste was phenomenal, but be prepared to stop at five guys on your way out for some real sustenance unless you want to have to remortgage your house. what are you again? I can’t emphasize the taste was incredible. Everything was perfectly cooked and the service was top-notch.

Service is attentive and timely. The atmosphere is more friends and family enjoying a meal together. The Zucchini chips were amazing, thin crispy and with a tasty sauce. Arva Madison absolutely exceeded expectations! Everything from start to finish was exceptional. The meal started with their complimentary hummus which was flavorful, and such a great way to begin the night.
For appetizers, we had the octopus, crab cake, and classic spreads — all delicious and beautifully prepared.
The Swordfish and Chilean sea bass were cooked to perfection — tender, buttery, and full of flavor. The sides deserve just as much praise — the lemon potatoes were bright and comforting, and the truffle fries were addictively good.
Cocktails were equally impressive. The Greek Tomatini, was smooth with a unique twist, and their Persephone’s punch was refreshing and well-balanced.
The atmosphere is elegant but comfortable, and the service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. If you’re looking for a refined Mediterranean experience in the city, Arva Madison is a must-visit!

The food was incredibly delicious and everyone in our group loved it. I came with friends and it was totally worth it. The hummus and tuna tartare were both amazing. I ordered the salmon with grilled veggies and had zero regrets. The dessert platter took the experience to another level. Definitely a five-star visit.

Limited veg options. Didn’t care for the spinach and rice.. The service was on point as also the drink. Didn’t order dessert. They were open Christmas day but were expecting to close early. Across from RC Music Hall, so a good place to grab a bite before or after the show.

My wife and I stopped by for dessert and a drink. The staff was excellent. The atmosphere was lively. It is an astetically beautiful space and huge with a full basement area as well. The baklava was the best I ever tasted. My wife and I will definitely return for dinner and the full experience. Overall an awesome experience!

My friends recommend this restaurant and I decided to take my mom on a date. Omg, the food is delicious. And the cocktails, yummmm. We tried 3 different dips for appetizer, swordfish was my main course. It was so tender, juicy and tasty I am still dreaming about it. Great service and nice ambiance. We booked table in advance. Don’t know if they take walk ins.

We stopped into Avra Madison for a light bite and only ordered two appetizers — the grilled octopus and the shrimp. Both dishes were very fresh and nicely presented. The octopus was tender with a good char, and the shrimp were flavorful without being over-seasoned. The atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful — bright, elegant, and perfect for a special night out. Service was attentive and professional, which added to the experience.
That being said, the prices are definitely on the higher side for the portion size, so it’s worth keeping in mind if you’re just coming in for small plates. Still, for quality seafood and a chic Midtown setting, Avra Madison delivers.
