Avonia Tavern is more than just a bar that serves food. It is a step away from the ordinary and into deliciousness! Truly okeased with my meal. I ordered the Perch platter and was stuffed when I was done. Great food, great service, great prices. I love going back there whenever I get the chance.

This place is consistently amazing! Their cocktails are a must-try—they usually feature special creations, and while they’re a little pricey, they are absolutely worth every penny. They hit that perfect balance: not too sweet, just flawless. Don’t skip the food either! The wings are outstanding, and the French onion soup is divine: piping hot, fresh, and truly delicious. The atmosphere is spot-on, especially for catching a football game on Sunday. Go Steelers!

We stopped in last minute with a group on our way to camp. There were about 8 dads and 10 teenage girls. The staff was great at getting us seated. Even with kids at one table and dads at another the staff was very accommodating even when I’m sure it complicated things. Our meals were great and the price was good. Can’t recommend enough.

The food was very good. Fresh salad with housemade ranch; the fish and chips were fantastic. Our kids especially enjoyed the Bavarian pretzels and cheese.
The pricing is very reasonable as well. Will certainly return if the opportunity presents. Wish this establishment was nearby home.

We were impressed with the quality and quantity of food you get fornthe price. We ordered the Valentine special and everything we ate was amazing. To be honest, we were TRYING to find a negative. The ONLY negative we could come up with was that the dessert was small… but honestly, we wouldn’t of eaten it had it been any bigger so I guess it was the PERFECT size.
The restaurant was clean, the bathrooms were clean, we were greeted with smiles and our waitress was efficient and friendly. We met the owner and she also was very personable and friendly. We look forward to returning and trying other menu items and hope that our second visit is as enjoyable as our first

We have been coming here for over a decade, but the last few visits has not gone well. From burnt black onion-rings being brought to our table ,to waiting 25 minutes at the bar to pick up a togo, and now watching tables seated after us get there food. It doesn’t take 50 minutes to make a few orders of wings,which the table next to us got theirs . They ordered way after we did. Combo find out the never even started them till the 3rd time our server told us they were coming. So we get them to go, and yeah the were rushed over cooked and one of the flavors is unrecognizable. We will not be going back.

Amazing visit to the Avonia Tavern! My boyfriend and I stopped here for dinner on our way back from a long day trip and had a wonderful experience. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming, menu options were great and the food itself was delicious! The waitress was so nice and friendly, it felt like we had been coming there for years when it was our first time visiting. The only downside is that they are over 2 hours from where I live so I can’t easily stop in for dinner. Can’t wait to go back!!
