Pietro & Juanita Avolio dreamt of one day owning their own restaurant where they would be able to share their homemade recipes with the community. Pietro spent much of his time growing up in Pacentro, Italy learning various recipes from his mother and sisters. When they found their way to Covina, he continued to spend countless hours perfecting those homemade sauces, noodles and breads. So when you dine at Avolio’s Italian Restaurant, every bite holds a morsel of our family history. Take a look at our expansive menu and order a dish or three — this way, you’ll walk away with plenty of leftovers. If you can’t make it over, no problem: With takeout, delivery, and catering options, we’ve got you covered.

Service was great. Seating is limited, but we went at lunch so there was plenty of seating. They have specials that include a salad, etc, but the portions in pasta were worth the price and fill you up.
Plenty of garlic bread with the meal. I would skip the appetizer next time since it’s nothing really spectacular.
This restaurant is located off the San Bernardino Ave. The parking is plenty and easy. When we got inside, the seats were not comfortable, since the table was too high and the seat was too low and not firm. The service was slow and inefficient. I asked for the bread, but the waitress told me that the bread had to come with the main dish. When I asked her to lit the candle, she didn’t return for a long time, so I have to ask her again. The food was OK and average. My shrimp dish was dry and lacking the sauce, with very little spinach in it. I feel that this is an average Italian restaurant.
