I recently visited Avocados Mexican Restaurant in Everett, and it was a great experience overall.
The highlights of the meal:
Tequila Flight: A fantastic way to start. They have an impressive selection, and the presentation was spot on.
Bacon Wrapped Shrimp: These were a bit over cooked, but flavorful—definitely a must-try appetizer.
Caesar Salad with Carne Asada: The steak was tender and well-marinated, providing a nice protein boost to a fresh, crisp salad.
Chile Verde: The sauce needed some salt and spice, however, the pork was incredibly tender.
The atmosphere is vibrant and spacious, making it a solid choice for a casual dining experience . Service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit.

I lived in Texas 25 years before moving to Everett. And y’all, this is the closest thing I’ve had to Tex-Mex since moving here. It felt like we’d entered the Promised Land. Great food, but, more importantly, it has a great vibe. They have excellent decor, and they even have great landscaping. This is a great place for date night, and it’s also a great place to bring kids. In my nearly 10 years of searching, this is the closest thing to Tex-Mex in the greater Seattle area. Affordable, too.

This is always our go to spot for celebrations. The food never disappoints and the staff are always great!
My family and I enjoy the environment and this is also our spot to take family out of town to when they visit. The food is amazing, the chips and salasa, and our favorite are the micheladas and margaritas! Delicious!!!!
We love the fajitas, enchiladas, chimichangas, nachos, plates and more. Going on hear 4 of moving here, Avocados is our go to spot for Mexican food ANY DAY!
(Didn’t take a photo the last time we came to celebrate, because we all dug in right away)

Price online is not the same as I was charged. I was charged a service fee. Didn’t get any napkins or a fork. Ordered the 3 shrimp tacos with coslaw.. my tacos were the “coslaw” so much of the sauce I was so grossed out. So waste of money there. (A tortilla with slaw and barely any shrimp. ) then the carne asada and shrimp plate. Looked good. Except when I took a bite of it the shrimp (sauce) tasted like straight ketchup. Definitely disappointing. Spent $80 almost. And threw most of the food away.

Yummy food. I didn’t care for the cactus enchilada that much but wanted to taste cactus. All other dishes I was told were yummy!
Great Service and atmosphere.

My husband and I went there today for lunch. He had the carne asada burrito, and a Cadillac margarita. I had the Pollo Encremado, and a coconut jalapeno margarita. The chips and salsa were to die for and they even brought us bean dip. We sat in the bar the waiter was super nice. I will definitely go back again

Dined with my family on a Sunday evening. It was a pleasant and no-rush experience. Delicious food, great service, and overall, we really enjoyed dining here. The chicken tenders could’ve been better. Highly recommend for families!

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I came in wondering if it would live up to its hype and for the most part, it did. Staff is super friendly and the restaurant is clean. The waiter came out with chips, salsa, and pico. The corn chips were fresh and hot, both the salsa and pico was fresh and excellent. I got a pina colada to start and it was great, just needed a bit more rum. To start, I had the chipotle tuna dip. Definitely a different take on a fish dip. It was good but it wasn’t great. Flavor was almost there but the tuna tasted more like prepackaged vice traditional smoked. Dinner came out and I got their trio. For 34$, it’s a bit steep. But, I can say, it was delicious. The steak, chicken, and bacon wrapped shrimp were perfectly cooked. The dish was great, I just felt it could be 24-27$. Either way, the portions were huge. Dessert was the only thing that fell short for me. I got the plan and they put strawberry sauce on it, which killed the flavor. Also, the texture was a bit too rubbery from being overcooked or stored too long. Overall, easily 4/5, great choice for authentic and tasty Mexican cuisine.
