This was the worst good ever maybe the cook but my food was burnt and the sauce was so red I never saw it like this before

I’ve tried their food twice now – both times it was very bland and very overcooked. They didn’t have the first thing I tried to order both times. The rice was plain white rice and the beans weren’t refried, they looked like pinto beans just out of a can. Very nice people, though, and the food was ready quickly.

Had the super torta and it was indeed SUPER! Absolutely massive and delicious! I will definitely be ordering from here again. The tacos are delicious, the tongue is very tender and seasoned to perfection!

Got myself a Torta Cubano and cheese fries — which in a way, was a mistake. I bought too much food!
I expected a sandwich the size of a hamburger. This torta was enormous, maybe 8 inches long, and packed with stuffings. It was quite spicy, not bland at all. Very fresh ingredients and piping hot when I picked it up, I’ll be ordering from here again.
Not much locally to compete with the fare they serve, and even if there was, the food was excellent. It’d be a tough act to compete with.

Price was great. Food was not. Everything was bland, dry, and chewy. Really felt like we were given pre-made, frozen, and overcooked food. Tried empanadas, chimichangas w/ rice and beans, and I got my son French fries. Even the French fries were soggy and chewy.
Do not recommend. Will not order again.

Quiet place, excellent salsa and good flavors. Note there’s no Asada, and bistek is more shaved steak (Philadelphia cheesesteak style) than chopped grilled steak. Flavors present (not bland), but not salty. Note all-high-top seating with stools, if you’re planning to eat in. Drink machine was broken, so no cup water; bottled is $2 per.

Taco Tuesday special was delicious! Steak and chorizo was good. The red sauce is nice and spicy and the green tastes great.

I have to say the name is just very confusing. At first I thought it was a fresh produce store. “Avocados from Mexico” is the name of an avocado distribution company. “Ice cream” they do not have any ice cream on their menu or anywhere to be seen when you walk in so it’s not an ice cream parlor. The place is not inviting and seems very outdated, reason why I chose take out instead. Tortas were bland I was not impressed.
