Food was very good. Service was also awesome and the only thing that was at a loss was the the atmosphere seemed very cramped. You’re able to hear what others are taking about at the next table as if they were talking to you at your table. It was difficult to hold a conversation with that going on in the background. We ordered monkey brains appetizer, I got t the Godzilla roll which was a normal size roll, and my husband got the golden shore roll which was huge. We tried 4 different drinks there and all of them were good most of them were from the summer drinks menu.

I came here for lunch with my dad and it was an excellent experience. The decor was really nice and felt very open. As for service, the waitress was quick and very nice, helping us both. In regards to the food, it was amazing. We had the Solana Beach and King Kong rolls and they were delicious with the Solana Beach roll (Left) being the best of the two as it was light and very flavorful. We will definitely return in the future to try more of the amazing looking sushi at this place.

The food was great! I ordered 3 rolls to go, and it was done really fast! the food was done within about 10-15 minutes after i placed it. The food was still decently warm after a 20 minute drive home. Had a great experience. the only thing, just for helpful feedback, is me and my fiance aren’t very big ginger fans, and they give you a decent amount of ginger, and the ginger juices did kinda get into our rolls. It didn’t take away from our experience, but since they give you a little bit more than most, it does leak into the sushi a bit. will come back 100%!

Awesome sushi. Always tastes fresh and is well prepared. Service is a little slow at times, and getting a table can be difficult due to the small size of the place. Forgive my pictures. We had started eating before I took them. Come check this place out you won’t regret it.

I’m not a huge sushi lover, I have a sensitive palate and if it’s been sitting or not the fresh it’s meant to be, I can get off put easily. My husband got a yellowtail roll which was amazing. We ordered a second it was so good. Fish was fresh, ingredients fresh.

New in town, first time here, based on reviews, I was not disappointed! Small & simple place, but the service was great, and the food was delicious!!! I had the Monkey Brains appetizer, then based on the waitstaff recommendation, I ordered the Red Dragon and Little River rolls. Soooo good!!! I will definitely be back!

Updating from a more recent visit – still LOVE this place!!! Tried the Heartbreaker Roll and the Fresh Roll today – amazing!!!

The sushi is good and the prices are decent. Service is also good but they could use more seating to meet demand. Of course, then they would need more chefs and a bigger kitchen so it’s a catch 22.

It’s a lightly decorated strip mall shop so don’t expect an immersive experience but you will find good food and friendly service.

Be sure to check the daily specials. I tried the Christmas Tree Roll and it was amazing.
