First time here. We really appreciate authentic Mexican dishes and Avacado did not disappoint. We were the first ones there for early Friday dinner. Tried the loaded margaritas, they were very good. She had the Aztec salad bowl it was excellent- the fried tortillas bowl was light like pastry and the nopales and beef included were very good.
I had the carnitas enchiladas almost went with the Arbil sauce but the bartender pointed out to me it would be very hot – I went with the tomatillo sauce instead which had mild bite but was very very good. Excellent meals. Also had the flan for desert which was better than what I’ve had or made before- more cheese cake consistency than custard.
Very nice comfortable decor and furniture.
The staff was very helpful and attentive. Plenty of public parking right across the street.

This is the spot. Affordable and good food. Supreme fajitas were well-made and delicious. Tacos are bomb too. Salsas are handmade. Outdoor seating faces the sun in the afternoon which is unique in the Berkshires. Don’t sleep on Avocados. Hidden gem in Lee!

I just left this wonderful place with my family. We are literally on our way to Canada and accidentally ran into this delicious restaurant. The owner, Ivan, served us an amazing mole, tacos, and burrito. The sauce was awesome and the food overall was soooo good. We plan to return on our way back home! Does anyone know about this authentic little secret in Lee? Who would have thought anything like this existed in Lee? We were so impressed and they also had excellent house margaritas. We will definitely return.

Okay I’m a wuss when it comes to spicy food. But I so enjoyed the salsa, guacamole and rice without having to drink after every bite. The Tinga was delicious. This is going to be one of my ” go to” places when I’m up here. Loved everything. Thank you.

Great food and reasonably priced with large portions. We had the tacos dorados and rice and beans and it was all quite tasty. Nice ambiance and friendly staff. Located in a walkable area near the towns Main Street so it’s a perfect place to stop by and eat lunch while shopping.

Avocado Cafe has the best Oaxaca mole we have ever had on the East Coast – well worth the visit. And nice local vibe with really nice owners and associates!

Very impressed. We’re born and raised Texans so we’re rather picky. I had the Tacos Dorados. Very flavorful and fried perfectly. They use the good Oaxaca cheese. My husband enjoyed the burrito tinga with spicy salsa. Good heat to the salsa and the chicken was seasoned well. My mother in law raved about the pork enchiladas. She was impressed to get good enchiladas this far north. Will definitely be back soon.

We found this place when we stopped in Lee looking for a place to eat, on our way to CT. Thank God for Google, so glad we found it. It’s a tiny place, but atmosphere and space is used wisely to create a perfect ambiance. The food and the service are genuine! Food was Mexican authentic and delicious.

We LOVED trying here for the first time and we will come back in a heartbeat. From the warm tortilla chips with fresh salsa to the amazing Oaxacan mole burrito we were surprised and delighted to spend the evening here. The staff were polite, friendly and accommodating. The picture of the carne asada almost doesn’t do it justice!
