I’ve been here a few times but was a little disappointed this time. I got the chips and salsa that I could’ve sworn they use to give complimentary a while ago, scanned the code to get the free chips and guacamole but was misleading info and was just chips and salsa. Nevertheless, chips were great, salsa was, well I wouldn’t call it salsa, it was more of a chunky paste-type green salsa; it wasn’t good, we ate a bit but just left most of it (and we’re usually requesting extra salsa at other places because of eating it all). The yuca fries were great, took photos too late as you can tell . Wings are always awesome! Didn’t even get a chance to take a photo. The big shrimpin taco is delicious but they only put 2 baby shrimps on there which is a bit frugal for the price you pay. The Outlander Burger was way too salty and wasn’t crazy about the beef itself to be honest. Elote-style fries was also very frugal considering the up charge for that “style”. Will be coming back since it’s the only cute taco spot in Bayside, but I hope they do a little better.

Came here for lunch and it was a pleasant surprise discovering this spot. The setup is modern and smooth with both servers and touchscreen ordering, which makes the experience quick and easy.
I ordered the Elote taco and the Birria taco both were packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. Every bite hit. The food came out fresh and well prepared.
The environment was clean, calm, and welcoming. I appreciated the quiet daytime vibe and the music playing in the background perfect lunch atmosphere. Service was solid and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish.
This is officially added to my go to lunch spots. Highly recommend.

Ive been here a few times before and enjoy coming here for happy hour. Cuz the Food and drinks are 5/5 stars. But this time around staff made us feel like completely unwelcome patrons. Waited over 5 minutes to get seated at 3 pm on a Sunday where it really wasn’t busy at all. Lots of staff made eye contact with us and just walked away completely ignoring us. Literally the bartender had to leave the bar to seat us.
While seated, the level of service was the same. Waitresses just walked passed us completely ignoring us each time we tried to flag one down after establishing eye contact. Even when paying for the check. We were asked if we want a print out. We said yes. And the waitress left and forgot about it. After 10 minutes we just left.
We just felt unwelcome from start to end. We’re spending good money to be here.

What an unexpected delight. AVO taco is a very easy and simple spot to have some real good tacos.
We had a bunch of stuff from Yukon fries to veggie tacos and birria quesadillas. Everything was awesome.
Our server was very sweet and polite.
Can’t wait to try it again. Soon.

The food is good. I’ve been here many times every time you get the steak quesadilla that comes with mushrooms and onions. This time all I got was mushrooms and onions in the quesadilla. I wish the staff would put more steak like it shows in the picture from the restaurant instead of just filling that quesadilla with mushrooms and onions. I also have a picture to prove that it only had onions and mushrooms. I would like to keep ordering this quesadilla, but not if it’s gonna come overfilled with onions and mushrooms and barely any steak if at all.

I ordered chips and guacamole with a mango salsa as a starter, and I ordered the three types of meet tacos from the menu: banditos, calypso, and chimichurri steak. Everything was delicious: the meat was cooked to perfection, juicy, and flavorful, and the caramelized onions were crispy. The place is beautiful, with a fresh and striking appearance, and is perfect for sharing with friends and family. I ended my evening with a delicious dessert: churros with ice cream (perfectly made, not too sweet, and creamy). The service was excellent. They made very good recommendations. On Tuesdays, they have two tacos and they give you one for free. The tacos are a great size, and the price is perfect for the quality of the tacos. It’s cheap because the flavor and location are excellent.
