Huge respect for vegan restaurants that deliver bold, satisfying food and AVO gets it done. The og nachos were flavorful and generously portioned. The cauliflower wings with gochujang sauce were outstanding, great texture, amazing flavor, and even gluten-free (note: very spicy, so choose buffalo if you prefer mild). The Dan Dan noodles were excellent, with chili oil, walnut crumble, and green onions.
Lastly, we ordered the pecan cheese cake but it’s was just okay.

Overall Good vibe, super friendly staff, and our server Carson was fantastic. Five stars, will definitely be back when in Nashville.

We first visited this vegan restaurant over a year ago and loved the food, so we decided to return last week. The menu has changed since our last visit, but the quality remains the same. The only minor drawback was that the dishes we ordered could have used a bit more salt.

The ambiance is excellent, and they offer a selection of alcoholic beverages. We tried the Lentil Walnut Burger, Dan Dan Noodles, and the Roasted Shroom Meatloaf (which is also gluten-free). The meatloaf came with French fries and mashed potatoes, and everything was flavorful and satisfying.

I went here for lunch and dinner and both times I was extremely impressed. Amazing food!!! Great and friendly service!!! Server at lunch was Dylan and server at dinner was Rhett and I have to say that both of them were extraordinary!! They knew the menu and were able to explain it. The best chocolate avocado cake I had ever tried!! And the tomato basil soup just to die for. Totally recommend this place!!

Tucked away in Nashville’s charming Germantown neighborhood, AVO is an absolute must for anyone who loves fresh, vibrant, and truly inspiring vegan cuisine. The moment I walked in, the space radiated that relaxed-yet-refined Nashville energy — modern, bright, and full of life.

Their menu features both raw and cooked dishes, and everything I tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. You can really taste the care and creativity that goes into each plate — the ingredients feel alive, and the combinations are spot-on. It’s the kind of food that makes you feel good while you’re eating it.

Our waitress was an absolute delight — she had that warm, genuine Southern hospitality that makes you feel like you’re chatting with a friend, or even your favorite neighbor. The service was effortless and friendly in the best way possible.

From start to finish, AVO exceeded my expectations. It’s refreshing to find a vegan restaurant that balances health, flavor, and atmosphere so perfectly. Whether you’re plant-based or just exploring, this spot deserves a top spot on your Nashville food list. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

*Highly recommend the kimchi spring rolls*

Avo in downtown Nashville truly impressed me! The kimchi rolls were fresh with just the right kick, the noodles were hearty and flavorful, and the vegan mac n’ cheese was incredibly creamy and satisfying. The atmosphere strikes a great balance — modern, warm, and welcoming — and the staff made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. It’s one of those places that makes healthy dining feel indulgent. Definitely a Nashville gem I’ll be revisiting soon!

AVO is such a gem! I ordered the smothered burrito with walnut chorizo (definitely add it! It takes the burrito to a whole other level and makes it absolutely out of this world). I also tried the kimchi rolls, and wow the peanut sauce is to die for. I normally don’t like peanut sauce at all, but this one was perfect in both flavor and consistency.

Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere is amazing they have music playing in the background, but it’s at the perfect level where you can still comfortably talk and hear everyone at the table.

Parking was super easy too. There’s plenty of garage parking, and AVO validates parking for 2 hours, which is a huge plus. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back! ✨

The place is beautifully decorated. Our server was welcoming with a beautiful smile. The burger was delish but the nachos was the best along with the avocado chocolate mousse dessert. No pics of burger or dessert as we ate it as fast as it was served…. but I definitely recommend this place. Went with someone who isn’t vegan and he was pleasantly surprised.

Everything about this place screams five-star experience, from the warm, welcoming staff to the absolutely phenomenal food. The team here is not only friendly but incredibly personable and genuinely hospitable.

And get this, it’s a vegan restaurant! But trust me, even if you’re not vegan, you’ll fall in love with the flavors. Every bite was a 10/10. Thoughtful, delicious, and beautifully prepared. I’d recommend this spot to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. You don’t have to be plant-based to appreciate just how good this place is!

Recommended by the people at Succulent, the vegan taco stand at the Farmers Market (and their food is fantastic!), this place is a sit down restaurant and the food is a.m.a.z.i.n.g!!! Cauliflower bisque, kale Caesar salad – and cheesecake for dessert. Really, you need to find out for yourself – GO! Even my non-vegan friend says, “outstanding!”

First vegan restaurant we tried in Nashville! My boyfriend and I are from Texas and were visiting some family and we decided to try this place first. The staff were all so friendly and gave us great recommendations on the food. I ended up doing the Dan Dan Noodles and I do not regret it one bit! My boyfriend had a tofu dish that although I can’t remember the name of, I’ll post a picture of it below. I tried his dish and it was honestly one of the best vegan dishes I have ever tried. We also had some of the mocktails and the cheesecake. Not to mention, the music and the atmosphere were so amazing. 10000/10 rating!
