Great spot on the North side of town. Beautiful view of the city. Got there at 6pm on Friday and was pretty empty. Was full by 8pm.
Service was prompt, food was delicious. We got shrimp and Greek Freak burger. would recommend both. Also dessert was amazing.

Thursday 10/31/25 was truly a wonderful, simply perfect evening at Avli-Milwaukee. We were there with our dear friends from Minneapolis celebrating their recent marriage.
It is rare when a restaurant hits a home-run on all cylinders. Rachel our food server, was delightful and incredibly personal, attentive and efficient (she had a great knowledge of the menu as well as made personal favorite choices across the menu) while serving with a smile throughout our entire evening. We frequent the restaurant scene in Milwaukee and Rachel was the best food servers we have had in years. Thank you Rachel for making our evening so special.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our food was truly delicious, well prepared and beautifully plated. We have been here several times now and we have tried much of the men and it NEVER disappoints. Everything here is incredibly tasteful and prepared, everything we have had is our favorite… and we are tough critics!

During our dinner, Sara (the manager) stopped over with a kind hello and smile to welcome us and to make sure we were happy with our dining experience. This consideration of a restaurants patrons always separates a great restaurant from a good restaurant.Such a rare occurrence, but Avli- Milwaukee is a rare experience!

I went with my wife and enjoyed some wine and cocktails along with a trio set of spreads with pita bread. They were all good but my favorite was the Tirokafteri recommended by the bartender since we sat at the bar. He was great and made our experience very nice. We shared the chicken souvlaki and the chicken was so tender and juicy. Really enjoyed this place.

Went here for brunch over the weekend as well as a few months ago for dinner. It’s generally overpriced for the quality, but it has a great location with a nice city view and a good patio during the summer. The two things that stand out on the menu is their cocktails and pita bread + hummus. While a few upsides, I’ve been relatively disappointed with the food when I go. When I went for dinner I got the chicken souvlaki, which the chicken was marinated well but overcooked and the rice was kinda hard like it had been left out a while. I also noticed how loud it was inside when I was there for dinner, the place could use some kind of soundproofing. For brunch I got the french toast, which was really not good at all. They used sourdough and garnished it with lemon cream that had way too much lemon in it, as did the egg soup two of my friends got. My girlfriend also got coffee (that tasted awful), and they charged $5 each for a refill which we were not told about. The restaurant in total isn’t all bad, but I just don’t think it’s worth visiting again aside from drinks on the patio.

Beautiful spot for Greek food near downtown. We got a variety of items to share and loved everything. The lamb chops were so tender and done perfectly. The outdoor seating looks fabulous. Excited to come back this summer and sample more menu items.

Rachel was amazing—attentive, personable, and so knowledgeable about the menu. From the perfect wine pairing to the incredible food, every detail made our date night unforgettable. We enjoyed a vibrant Greek salad topped with creamy feta, crispy golden saganaki, tender grilled lamb chops, fresh sea bass over greens, and perfectly fried calamari. A truly wonderful dining experience!

This was my first time ever coming here and it was for my one year anniversary of being married. And we loved it. The service was super friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. I very much recommend doing the patio and reserving it at night to give it those nice spooky vibes.

We had a fantastic time – good drinks & food. Went for happy hour and ended up staying for 2 hours. Daniel was an awesome bartender and made sure we had an enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend! Staff was very mindful of dietary restrictions as well which is always appreciated.
