Dinner with friends and it was excellent from amuse bouche to dessert. The service was spectacular.
We had a little of everything from the menu and I’ll confidently say EVERYTHING is good. You can’t go wrong. We were also lucky enough to have some rare aged albino caviar which was simply divine.
The trout cru appetizer is a must have if you’re a fan of fish. The suggested wine pairings were perfection with our choices as well. The environment was great and though lively, still felt cosy and intimate enough for our dinner. The “Easy Rider” cocktail is also a must have!! There’s a very nice selection of dessert drinks alongside actual dessert. You won’t be disappointed!
Honestly the only hiccup of the evening was the fact that I encountered some bones in the last bite of my bass.

A truly unique addition to the Atlanta food scene! Avize offers a fantastic trek through Alpine cuisine that feels both sophisticated and cozy. The atmosphere is moody and refined perfect for a date night. We loved how the menu blends traditions from Switzerland, Italy, Germany and France. Even had little touch of Asian. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of unexpected flavors. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something beyond the typical Atlanta dining.
The final chocolate course was delicious, but the presentation had a slight drawback. While the bird’s nest concept with the green leaves was visually striking, the materials used for the box had a strong, unpleasant scent that interfered with the experience. Focusing on scent neutral decorations would make this detail as perfect as the chocolate.

My wife and I came to this restaurant to celebrate my bday and it did not disappoint! The service was excellent thanks to all of our servers (special thanks to Gabby). From the first dish to the last, all the flavors were top tier. We’ve bee on a mission to try out off of Atlanta’s fine dining offers and so far, Avize sits high up on that list for us.

For the food, we started off with Pumpkin Gnocchi and the Venison Tartare. I could eat the tartare every day of the week! Both of this starters were excellent. We then moved on to the mains where my wife ordered the lamb and I the duck. Both of those dishes were excellent as well! Super creative. Finished the meal off with the crème brûlée and the pumpkin cheesecake. Chefs kiss.

We will definitely be dining in at Avize again in the future. This place is special!

Such a chic, relaxed, ambient atmosphere. Service was attentive, playful, and set the tone for a great dinner.

I love the creative yet intentional menu. It’s built from thoughtfully sourced, seasonal ingredients. Some dishes were a bit daring, but it worked. Everything from the cocktails to starters to mains were stellar. Overall, Avize was a delightful dining experience

The next future Atlanta Michelin restaurant has entered the chat. This was my second visit here tonight and yes, I came for the food. I embraced the concept of alpine dining and brought my husband here on this visit because we wanted a quick date night since all the kids were gone. Your best accomplishment Avize was winning my husband over. He was so hesitant to come here and afraid he may not enjoy the food but you sure did prove him wrong. From the beautiful eggshell starter to the salad to the pretzel buns to the carrot bolognese and bass, everything was done right. I must admit, I don’t eat red meat so this menu was challenging in that I was limited to my options but bravo! You guys nailed every dish I ordered. I actually took the leftover mains home to freeze and enjoy again another day (not sure they will hold up while on vacation but I had to try!). Looking forward to another beautiful meal here soon.

Avize is a masterclass in “elevated without pretension.” It is a place where the company is great, the drinks are adventurous, and the food will make you rethink everything you thought you knew about Alpine cuisine.

You might think you know an ingredient, but Avize will reintroduce it to your palate.

For those hosting, the “Jewel Box” provides a stunning setting for private dining, while the overall hospitality is well-suited for larger groups looking for a seamless, upscale event.

The main dining room offers a moody, “chalet-chic” ambiance. With curved banquettes and an open kitchen, it is perfect for an intimate dinner.

The food at dinner last night was not like other food that we eat when we dine out. The flavors were interesting and exceptional. I love a good steak or pasta or chicken dish, but when reimagined in those ways, its a lot more of an experience. Chef and the kitchen are nailing flavors and the curated ambiance keeps the dining visit exciting.

The food is quite good but I’m taking off a star for 2 reasons:
1. The service was quite slow
2. We were not told just how little in the way of accompaniments come with each meal. Had I known, I would have ordered more side dishes. But by the time my main dish came, I’d already waited for so long that I didn’t feel like placing another order. So my meal ended up being quite unbalanced and protein-heavy.
