I had a great experience here! The food is always fresh and flavorful. I especially love the greyo (fried pork) and salads, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The owner is incredibly kind and makes you feel welcome right away. The restaurant is spotless, the prices are fair, and the customer service is excellent. Definitely a spot worth trying!

This place is a hidden gem! This was my first time having lunch here and the food was way above expectations. The owner of Avinel’s Kitchen made me a mixed plate and put a little bit of everything on it. From Lasagna, mashed potatoes, Jerk Chicken and Meatballs. Everything was delicious and flavorful. I would highly recommend anyone try them for breakfast or lunch.

I work in the area here in Melville, I am so glad I stumbled upon this place. If you want authentic jerk chicken without having to leave the US and head down to the Caribbean, this is your go to place. I try to get there at least twice a month. The staff is friendly. The price is right and the food’s always delicious.
