The food is amazing as always. I highly recommend the smoked salmon toast! It was the perfect blend of sweet and savory. My daughters love the crepes, funky monkey is their go to. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and grits. The coffee was delicious and strawberry sangria was a great finisher.

The Aviary is a bustling place with outstanding atmosphere, service, and food. I called ahead for easy call ahead seating and avoided the wait. I had the breaded chicken breast French toast and bacon. My dish was fabulous and my date had chicken salad sandwich. The coffee at the Aviary is excellent too. One of my favorite stops in Springfield. I highly recommend! I will be back again and again.

not a thing to complain about. well maybe the wait on the weekends is a little bit but other than that what a delight for Springfield. Especially the service. Adam might be the best waiter I’ve ever met. The place was very clean. The food is big portions and its really affordable. They have an amazing cocktail menu as well. I’m not sure what took us so long to come here but we will be back for sure. I’m wondering about the name. Aviary. I expected plants and birds I think. I had salmon toast with poached egg and avocado and couldnt finish it. Was amazing. Blows First Watch out the water!

Was a wonderful rustic environment with plenty of woodworking, low/natural lighting plenty of birdhouses painting and open outside views.Quick to seated even in a packed house service was slow, but that’s to be expected with how busy it was. Now on to the meat and potatoes, or should I say bacon and eggs I have the pleasure of trying the: IS IT MORNING? Topped With Crème Fraiche & Parmesan, filled with scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Caramelized Onion, cheddar jack cheese. Wrapped in made to order crepes. This was a very delectable way to have brunch all your tried and true classics rolled into a sweet and savory mix every thing melded well and it wasn’t overly sweet or salty. Was huge portion with 3 total crepes with a side. Speaking of sides the bacon cheddar Grits were to die for as a southerner born and raised these grits hit the spot so good I had to get some to take home. Overall the entire meal was filling tasty and not to costly with a price point of about 10-20$ a meal!

Great place for breakfast or brunch! I got the Funkey Monkey crepes with banana, and it did not disappoint. As much as I loved the crepes, the Smoked Salmon Toast stole the show. This appetizer could pass as a meal. I was impressed with the taste and quality of the food. They didn’t go cheap on the salmon either. That toast was loaded and delicious! The service was also good. I’ll definitely be returning to Aviary. If you go around lunch hours, I would definitely recommend joining the wait list online if you plan on dining in.

One of the qualities of a good restaurant is the consistency of the taste of its dishes. But, unfortunately, this was not the case here.
Once we ordered the “Smoked Salmon Toast” sandwich, and it was amazing, it was really worth coming here just for this sandwich. The fish, cheese, and bread were beyond praise. But when we came back to eat the same dish, we got something very strange. In the same sandwich, the cheese was sweet, like a dessert. That is, the first time there was plain cheese and an excellent combination of flavors, and the second time, with the same fish, bread, and capers, there was sweet dessert cheese. When asked why the cheese was sweet, the waitress said that this was how it should be according to the recipe, and that it had always been this way.
I wonder if the first time was a mistake in the recipe and we accidentally got plain cheese? If so, it’s a great pity…

Overall cute restaurant but I would recommend avoiding Saturday brunch hours as it is very loud and chaotic during those hours making the whole experience less enjoyable.
Had the burger with fries and it was really good and filling. The fries are more like a thick homemade chip and they are very good. I’ve also had the Nutella and fruit crepe in the past and they are okay- good value during happy hour if they still do that. Their crepes are on the thicker side though.
I will say that despite how busy it is on Saturdays, the workers were still very nice and service was not overly slow.

A phenomenal rustic dining cafe nestled in a more trendy district of Springfield. I came with a group of six. Our server was kind, efficient, and helpful, and the menu was very accommodating to common allergens. I ordered the Black and Bleu savory crepe with a side of pomme frites, and it was absolutely divine. Wait times were less than ten minutes for the entire table. If I lived local to Springfield, I’d come back a thousand times. With vintage-style edison bulbs, plenty of natural wood, and a front-facing kitchen, the atmosphere was chic and relaxed. The bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. 10/10 would recommend.

It was my first time here and was not disappointed at all in fact it was beyond my expectations. My server Anna was amazing. She recommended everything and it was excellent. The two drinks were an almond joy latte and a raspberry mocha latte. For the meal it was the black and bleu crepe with loaded pomme frites. It was possible the best savory crepe I have ever tasted. The only thing I would critique is the pomme frites could’ve been seasoned or coated a little more for me but frankly that’s such a minimal issue. All in all I will definitely come back and next time I’ll bring my family.
