Avenue is the best restaurant around (even comparing with Boston’s best restaurants). Every dish is outstanding – made perfectly with love and care from the chef and owner. Their food is always fresh, they serve the best cuts, and it is prepared at the perfect temperature with amazing presentation.
The drinks are also outstanding – many patrons order their favorite cocktails that are no longer on the menu, but the staff is more than happy to make them and keep the ingredients on hand. Everything is served with care and designed to make the diner’s experience outstanding.
The staff is wonderful – attentive, kind, caring and go above and beyond for every guest. Many patrons are regulars due to these outstanding factors that make this restaurant a truly unique and memorable experience. In fact, so many people love the restaurant it is often busy upon opening.
Reservations are definitely needed, and if you want to sit at the bar I advise coming at 4:30 on the dot, or around 6:30 when the first bar patrons are finishing. The bartenders and staff are there to help you so make sure to communicate how many people are in your party and if you would like to put your name in for bar seats.
This restaurant is my absolute favorite and I highly recommend a visit.

Just had an amazing dinner at Avenue in Medfield! I ordered the short rib special on Conor’s recommendation and it did not disappoint — absolutely delicious. The service was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Ask for Conor-he is fantastic.
And the butterscotch brownie sundae? So good. The perfect way to end the meal.

My wife had her baby shower at Avenue a few weeks back and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Mark and team were very responsive via email with our initial outreach providing all event details needed with menu options, layout plans and associated costs.
Day of turned out great as the mimosa bar & food were phenomenal. Their event brunch menu is spectacular…Blueberry waffles, short rib & sweet potato hash, and crispy brussel sprouts to name a few. There were multiple bartenders and servers to ensure everyone was taken care of.

This is a staple for us. We lived in Medfield for a while and still drive back 20 minutes for some Avenue. Their bucatini pasta is wildly good. And the Caesar salad is so good and good portion.

The service was awesome and the atmosphere was very cozy. Enjoyed the food as well, especially the steak frites. The portions are kind of small like some other reviews said and the food is a bit heavy. Had a feeling of heartburn afterwards.

Every dish we tried was fantastic, everyone from the owner to the manager to our waitstaff was incredibly kind. This was a great place to dine with the girlies abut also its dimly lit and pretty busy so it would be awesome for a first date, as well. Can’t wait to come back!!

We had a wonderful experience at Avenue in Medfield. I started with a dirty martini with blue cheese olives — perfectly made. The colossal shrimp cocktail was an excellent appetizer, with impressively large, fresh shrimp.
For my main course, I had the Mediterranean grain and legume bowl. The Turkish hummus was outstanding, and the almonds added a great crunch and flavor. Everything was fresh, balanced, and delicious.
We shared dessert — a blondie brownie with butterscotch, ice cream, and whipped cream — and it was the perfect sweet ending to the meal.
Our waiter, Conor, was fantastic. He gave great recommendations that helped us order the best options, and his service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. We’ll definitely be back!

The absolute best place in the region. Their options are great (you will most likely find something you like), everything tastes amazing, and their service is outstanding. Besides all that, I feel they keep improving their menu and courses constantly. This place is solid, trust me!
