Fantastic food and staff with such a cool building! Super fast service while still getting quality food. I will definitely be returning soon. I got the pepper jelly chicken sandwich with Mac n cheese. So flavorful and delicious!

Starting with the good…. Atmosphere is great with a beautiful old building. Food was very good. Came here for the grit cake at 5 pm on Saturday but they were out. Server needs more training. Salad came out with the meal instead of before and there was no dressing but couldn’t find server. Drinks stayed empty. When a glass of tea finally came after we asked for it there was no ice and had to ask for ice She disappeared…. Like for a long time. Came back in with a brown bag of boiled peanuts and she and two other servers stood at end of bar and ate boiled peanuts… would literally suck the peanuts off the hull, set the hull down and go pick up plates of food and deliver to tables, picked up napkins, folded them and then took to tables… all while eating boiled peanuts. We finished and waited for check as we watched them eat the boiled peanuts. Bartender finally brought check. Sad because food was great. Hats off to the chef!

Perfect atmosphere and amazing service. We went around lunch time and was a slight wait but we sat at the bar no wait. Kendra was the bartender and she was amazing and very friendly. I had the bacon cheeseburger and fries and their burgers are always so amazing. Wife had the Fried Green Tomatoes BLT and she was so happy and excited about it. She had the Blackberry Smash drink and it was so good. Overall great experience.

Avenue Pub is a good place to grab lunch or dinner with a friend or two. Today we had the Pub Fries and Fish and Chips… The Fish was light and crunchy but the fries were swimming in the grease from the fish strips… The Pub Fries where cooked perfectly and are a perfect appetizer for 2. The staff are attentive and the atmosphere is lively and welcoming.

I was in the Tuscaloosa area for business and wanted to try The Avenue Pub after hearing so many great things about it. I wasn’t in the mood for a massive meal after travelling all day, so I decided to skip the app and head straight to the main course. Once my bartender/server, Maggie walked me through the menu and the drink list I decided on the Pork Rib Eye, marinated and seared with a Conecuh cream sauce. If you don’t know, Conecah sausage is an Alabama staple, and the cream sauce has chopped Concah sausage. The Ribeye was soft tender, and very flavourful, the portion size as with most pork Ribeyes was about 7 ounces. Combined with the vegetables and rice, it made a good-sized meal. I washed it down with a Black Warrior Broad Street Brown Ale, a good match for this dish. The service was great, and the vibe and the place made it a great spot for drinks and food.
