Was just there with my parents (my handicapped father), husband, and our 9 month old baby. We have been going to this restaurant for a long time and we drive almost an hour to get there. We loooove their food and love the owner and his wife. The place is pricey and we always spend around $200 but we don’t care because their food is so good. Unfortunately tonight we had a horrible experience. We walked into an empty restaurant and the waiter greeted us with such attitude. I honestly was so disgusted by the way he spoke to us and treated us. A person like that should not be a waiter at a restaurant. He has absolutely no customer service skills. There is no reason to roll your eyes, speak loudly/sarcastic, and be grumpy with your customers. I also truly think he was racist as well because he was not acting like this with his Portuguese customers. We simply just wanted to have a nice Saturday dinner. I wish the owner was there to speak to him about the situation. We will never be returning to this place.

Oh my goodness! This is the epitome of an unassuming exterior hiding a true gem inside. The Portuguese menu served is truly some of the best meals I have ever tasted. It’s a unique menu compared of brilliant executions of staples (clams in a red sauce) and the more adventurous (Dobrada). I can not recommend it highly enough!

Called to let them know multiple hairs were found in my food for the second time, I did not call to complain the first time because things happen, and all the owner/owners wife could say is she doesn’t know how that could’ve gotten there and that their chefs heads are covered. One of the hairs was embedded in the piece of tripe so it did not just fall in. Dissapointed in how they handed this situation as i order from there regularly. I will not be returning.

The sauce for the steak was good but steak had way to much fat and was hard I didn’t like it.

service was awesome.. .food was really good… but it was pricey and portions were smaller… this was a $40 steak and this was $25 squid … maybe cause it was xmas eve.. will def try again!!

I been going to this place and my third visit to this restaurant was a very unpleasant experience. I’m assuming it’s the owner who spoke to us like a pig! Beware of old dinner rolls coming from other tables!!! I witnessed it myself not to mention dirty hands touching foods! Chocolate mousse was very sour n tasted spoiled and because I said something he made a scene. He had attitude issues and no training to deal with costumers. Pay attention to hygiene, I definitely will not be returning and I’ll spread the word.

I entered this restaurant on Saturday 09/20 at approximately 4:45/5pm to pick up two orders that were placed online.
Instead of being welcomed in, I received a hateful glare and nasty tone while being asked “can I help you?” from the waiter.
When I stated I was there to pick up two orders, I was scoffed at and told they were not ready before the gentleman even bothered to check. He then advised me the order would be ready in 10 minutes so I left and came back about 12-15 after.
When I returned I waited patiently in the bar area and when the gentleman saw me he rolled his eyes, left, and came back a couple minutes later with one order.
I explained there were two orders and he spoke down to me- counting out loud the two items in the bag he brought out.
I reiterated there were two separate orders that I was picking up and he then asked what the two orders were, found that the one order already sitting on the counter was the second one and told me “make sure you don’t get them confused”.
All of this again with a very nasty attitude and tone.
There was absolutely no reason for his behavior and while I have never dined in this establishment and it looks beautiful inside, I do not believe I ever will.
