My love took me here for our anniversary on a Sunday night and I have to say this is one of thee best Italian restaurant I’ve been to. I started with the Pizza Rossa and Suppli Al telefono, recommended by our amazing waiter. Then for antipasti we had the Misticanza. A salad of lettuce and greens, soft herbs, kumquats and white balsamic vinaigrette dressing! It was so delicious and light. After that we had our main course. I had the Fettucelle and my handsome had the duck special that he devoured. I’m not a duck person but I did have to say it was flavorful and delicious.
Our cocktails were so good as well! I had the Passione (rye, cardamaro and passion fruit. Babe had the old fashioned with the buffalo trace whiskey! Our drinks were strong and delicious. For my entree I had the Sauvignon Blanc!
Desserts were exquisite as well! The Aventino Tiramisu was soooo good! I loved the crunch it had to it thanks to the toasted hazelnut. Ohh emm gee! Thee best! All tiramisu should taste like this. My love had the Lemon Sorbetto. So delicious and lemony!
Our server was wonderful and personable. The host was friendly! We felt welcomed and well taken care of. I would love to go back!

We had a great experience at Aventino. Our server Anderson was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive and made good recommendations. The setting is casual but attractive, especially the kitchen and service area. The food was very good. It’s a lively spot for dinner.

This was our first visit to a local Italian restaurant in/at Bethesda row. Nice atmosphere. Service was very attentive.
The food was above average in general – we tried two appetizers, two main dishes and a desert.
There was a special on the menu – corn and crab agnolotti that was excellent. Zucchini appetizer was savory. The crème puff was also excellent. However, lamb shank didn’t impress.

Had a nice time at this restaurant and it was full house on Friday night. The menu is amazing, pasta was fresh and tasty. Got the roasted broccoli, I cannot recommend this enough. I have never had a dish like this and I would come back just to order it. The desserts are a must!! Ordered the apple dessert and the float. Wow, the apple was among the best desserts I have ever had, the float was unique but just too sweet. Overall amazing meal from start to finish. The service was a bit lacking in my opinion, always had to flag down my server if I needed something, it was annoying because she continuously checked in the two middle tables but would forget about us because we were in the corner. Also, our table was right under the AC which was blasting, our food became cold within 5 minutes, it was that bad. The candle holder on our table was empty compared to all the others. Hostesses were very kind! Couldn’t give this place 5 stars because of service. Otherwise, highly recommend!

Amazing food and amazing staff! Standouts include cocktails, Tuna Crudo (Special for the day), Risotto Croquette’s, Clam Spaghetti, and the flourless chocolate cake. Amazing. Also highly recommend trying the amaro flight, just skip the fernet if it’s your first try! Great service.

Mirna was our server at the bar!!!! She was amazing loved her energy! We started with the calamari which was perfect! Crunchy and fresh! After we had the pappardelle and the rigatoni amazing! Perfect portions and amazing flavors! Just amazing overall! We had a classic chianti buy the bottle you save more money! For dessert we had the ricotta cheesecake which was fresh and amazing. Overall one of the best restaurants. Miran again made our night amazing as a great server!

This new edition to Bethesda is worth the visit. They offer fine dining with a touch of a garden atmosphere. A large bar and for those that just want to grab a pizza a small edition to the restaurant that is for the casual dinner.
The service is attentive and a large but manageable menu with something for everyone. Unfortunately my pasta was undercooked. Still tasty but…
You have to speak with a raised voice for those that are looking for a quiet space.

Enjoyed a pleasant, casual Italian dinner with good service, including the sommelier Francesco and his good wine choice, and good food. Starters were all good, esp the salted cod and burrata; very much liked the spaghetti (yes not linguini) with clams, just right flavor and lots of clams) and the ragu. Everything cooked well. Tiramisu for dessert, 2 for the 4 of us, just perfect end; not off the chart dessert, but very nice. Definitely would return and recommend.

We arrived fully aware of the two-hour time limit and were prepared to respect it. Unfortunately, the staff felt the need to remind us—both directly and through aggressive “pacing”—multiple times throughout the night. Instead of a celebratory evening with friends, the focus became the fact they were trying to turn our table over for the next guest. If you want a relaxed celebration, the constant pressure here might put a damper on your night just like it did ours.
