Without even going inside this place, I could tell that an ideal experience probably centers around a few margaritas after work. I came DURING work at lunchtime this past Thursday and had a water, so keep in mind I didn’t have some of their biggest selling points. That said, this was still perfectly fine as far as it goes.

I work next door at Penn 1, so this is literally a 30 second walk for me. In warmer weather, the clientele seems to be a healthy mix of both tourists (which makes sense given its proximity to MSG/Penn Station) and office workers. There’s a pleasant outdoor area that butts up against the plaza we use when it’s not wall-to-wall brown piles of snow, but in late February it wasn’t possible to take advantage of that. When I walked in, I made myself comfortable at the bar, which had a great lighting/window situation going on – felt like an atrium or greenhouse almost, though I imagine that’s often contingent on the sun situation outside.

This was a pretty no-frills situation. I ordered chicken quesadillas and requested they hold the sour cream. The food showed up in about 10 minutes or so, which I think is very reasonable – the restaurant overall seemed quiet and the bar was otherwise empty, so there wasn’t an obvious reason for a wait time, but thankfully that was moot. As you can see from the attached, it was a large portion and had solid presentation value. I ate two of the quesadillas while I was there, took the last two to go, and may have accidentally consumed a third as a late afternoon snack. Not bad; the cheese was a little rubbery and the chicken a bit dry; nothing egregious, but the accompanying chipotle sauce was definitely needed. The tortilla itself was arguably the high point here – nice and crisp, and had a little seasoning to it.

The service was decent. Again, turnaround time was very good, and the bartender/waitress (Diana, I believe) was hospitable and pleasant. When the bill came, it included an edgy postcard that I’m 100% utilizing in the future, my concerns about the USPS notwithstanding. She also handed me a card with a QR code to write a review, not knowing she was in the presence of someone who literally does that at every opportunity. This type of overture can kind of play both ways – I don’t like situations where someone is not-so-subtly urging me to shoot them a positive review – but I thought this struck the right balance where she was just giving me the forum to send some feedback. Noted and done.

I’d come back, especially given how conveniently located it is for me on the weekdays. But it’s probably an overall better experience if I wait for the end of the workday.

Evan is an absolutely outstanding bartender. From the moment you walk up to the bar, he brings great energy, professionalism, and attention to detail. He’s incredibly friendly, remembers what people like, and makes everyone feel welcome.

The drinks are always perfectly made, and he keeps the atmosphere fun while still running the bar smoothly even when it’s busy. You can tell he truly cares about giving people a great experience.

If Evan is behind the bar, you know you’re in good hands. Highly recommend!

I had to change my review after I did it because the next day we went there both of us suffered from food poisoning. I’m really upset about this because the place is great, the service is amazing and the food was super tasty but I don’t feel comfortable recommending it after what happened. Maybe it was a coincidence but both of us were feeling sick from the stomach the next day, so is at least suspicious. Such a pity

RUN to this place don’t walk !! This is my second time coming here in the fall and I just love the atmosphere. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, the customer service is great and babyyyy .. the carne asada tacos !!! Phenomenal ! The drinks are what drinks are suppose to be ! They are not cheap with the serving of food even for small tacos and the drinks are made to perfection. I am literally in love with this little gem. I came here in 2024 for my birthday and I did a solo date today and trust me nothing has been downgraded .. the food is even better than i remembered . I hope the owner knows he or she has a great team! Love it

Let me start off by saying: take all reviews with your own discernment, as everyone’s experience can be different.

I was excited to try this place after a recommendation from my sister. We went on a Sunday, and although I had requested rooftop seating through Resy, our reservation was switched to the main floor. Just so you know, the rooftop is where most of the action takes place, so if you’re looking for more of a lively vibe, that’s definitely the spot to be.

For food, I ordered the steak and eggs with home fries. The steak, cooked medium, was the highlight of the entire meal—flavorful and cooked perfectly.

As for the bottomless brunch, I’m still new to the brunch scene and expected pitchers of drinks to be placed at the table, but here it’s served in individual glasses. This makes it a little harder to really take advantage of the 90-minute window. That said, I appreciated that the servers let you know when you’re down to your last few minutes (about 3–5 minutes left). Service overall was attentive—three different staff members checked in on my table throughout the meal. Though, we were originally served by one guy whose name I didn’t get a chance to catch. I don’t know if this restaurant‘s standard practice is to have multiple people serving one table on main floor.

I guess we could have asked for a clarity on that.

Additionally, the water glasses were not washed properly. There was lipstick stains from a previous patron on both glasses. It was replaced quickly but I didn’t hear what the server said once he was made aware of it.

This is one of those “ohh look lets give this place a try” and that’s what we did today (8.1.25) Walking towards the restaurant it was so nice from the outside patio, the inside dining area and the rooftop. To be honest, sometimes it can start from the host/hostess. What do I mean? I mean is that sometimes they give attitude or you can tell that they do not like their jobs. (which can change the customer’s mood) But the two hostess in the restaurant greeted us and directed us where we needed to go because we wanted to eat on the rooftop. The hostess service was outstanding! Thank you girls! When we got to the rooftop, the ambiance , the music everything was just great!
We put in our order with our server for our happy hour cocktails, appetizer, and a meal. Throughtout our meal our waiter not once came to check on us to see how we are doing if we needed anything else but noticed that other tables were being checked on. Very disappointed! I just wanted to leave because I was very upset! This was our first time here and this is how a customer gets treated, not good. I do want to say the margarita was so good and the fully loaded nachos too! The baja fish tacos was lacking the crispiness and needed a little bit more sauce.

We had a semi private birthday yesterday there and I just want to say that everything came out exactly as I hoped for. Conor was so helpful and checking in on us the whole time. Our Host Kebenae was such a sweetheart. Helping with everything I needed to make the birthday go well ! Everyone loved the food and the drinks. We had such a great time. Emma is the go to girl when wanting to reserve a party for more than 10 people. She was there to answer every question and just make the reservation such a smooth process. We will definitely be coming back for more get togethers. Thank you team we had an amazing time!!!!

Found this spot online with a brunch special of 90 minute bottomless for $24.95 with options that you could switch throughout and pay whatever for your entree. My friends and I were on the rooftop with a DJ playing good music. I’d admit it could get really hot up there but we had a good day of shade from the clouds and wind. Definitely need to make a reservation in advance. I had scheduled a resy for 2 but added a 3rd person, which I called a couple hours prior and requested which they had no problem adding. They have several servers consistently checking if we needed refills and then ended our tab with these cute mixed shots. Definitely would recommend.
