When you complain to the owner , he tried to blame you for overreacting. Don’t just take my opinion, check out their other reviews. The owner of the business and his staff should be forced to take a class on how to act when running a business In Franklin Square and Garden City South, there are numerous pizzerias to choose from. Unfortunately, Avelinos falls short as one of the lower-rated pizza joints in the area. The quality of food is dreadful, and the staff is often caught using their phones. On one occasion, a worker left the bathroom after a brief hand wash (if he washed them at all) with his phone in hand. He then proceeded to handle the unsanitary food and attempted to pick up a garlic knot that had fallen off the plate with his bare hands. It is recommended to skip Avelinos and opt for any other random pizza spot in the area for better food and service.

I always order here but this time it was different. When I called I was put on hold multiple times before my order was complete. I wasn’t ask the simple thing like what type of pasta you want or salad dressing for you salad. When I ask if I could have this type of pasta or salad dressing I was told were busy and put on hold again so I hung up and try to order online. So I order online. I had a eta of 9:20 to 9:35 so I called were us my food it just came out of the oven it will be there shortly .ok I said. Its now almost 10:30 still no food

My new job liked to order from here. I went in to use their ATM machine,and WOW. This place is filthy!! When I asked who the manager was, the guy behind the counter said ” Why? Why are you here?” I simply wanted to introduce myself as the face to a company who ordered there frequently. Needless to say in top of him being rude and dismissive, the place was visibly dirty and cold with lackluster food. NEVER go here. And the ATM was out of service!

I ordered from Avellino’s through grub hub, and when a complication with my order arose, I called to clarify with the staff. I was put on hold three times, and when my phone service cut out I was yelled at for being unclear. Then, when I asked that my order be cancelled, I was told that my business wasn’t wanted anyway. The people who work at Avellino’s are completely unprofessional and outrageously rude. I will NEVER order from them again.

I’m being generous with the one star. Pizza is the worst pizza I have Every had… had I known it would be this bad I would have ordered from Domino”s Pizza “Not A Fan” but I rather had their pizza. The pizza I got was not completely done, sauce was sweet and salty the crust/bread was soggy just plain nasty. “Do Better”
