Had lunch at Ava’s today, everything was delicious. We had chicken wings first, they were so good. Perfectly crispy and the spices were perfect, loved the curry especially. We added pork to the shrimp spring rolls and they were huge. The portions are definitely generous. We then had a Bahn mi with pork. It was very big and the meat was very tender and delicious again. We also had an order of the fried bananas, which we treated as a dessert. Well worth it to order these.The owners are very welcoming and stopped to talk to all the guests while we were there. We will be back very soon and highly recommend this place!

As a fellow viet, I’m quite selective on my restaurants. The food is excellent; fresh herbs, piping hot and the aroma is mouth watering. The portions are plenty, and I’m definitely not complaining about the full service bar. Plenty of tables and room, and wide variety of desserts.The owners are very kind and knowledgeable, and tailored my kids food request with ease. I usually drive towards Houston for my Asian restaurants, but I’m so happy to find a place closer to home! My whole family will be back for sure!

Do yourself a favor and go here!! We got the grilled tofu bahn mi (AMAZING!), Crab Rangoon ( ), and the veggie egg rolls to go. All were incredible! Forgot to take pics before we dug in. The service was impeccable, you feel like family you walk in and the food was so good. The bahn mi will feed me for a couple days and the crab rangoon was so flavorful you don’t even need sauce with it. Will definitely be coming back and can’t wait to try the pho next time.

Heard good things from ⛵️ marina neighbor about the Vietnamese dishes at Ava’s Bistro. So accordingly, to achieve a true bellweather mark of Saigon cuisine, one must order the Cadillac of all Viet food items: “thit bo luc lac” or otherwise Rock N Roll steak tenderloin.

Absolutely a hidden gem, the service is amazing the staff is super attentive and very into detail, i delt like part of their family. THE FOOD IS INCREDIBLE, everything is fresh and you can tell its made with love. Also great bank for the buck. My meal was a lemongrass beef Bành mi, its literally the best one ive ever had. This is my new favorite spot!

I was exicited to hear about Ava and with all the wonderful reviews, was truly looking forward to trying the food. Not sure if it was a Sunday and I ordered take out but I was disappointed. Sorry Ava. My Saigon eggrolls were burnt. Everyone one of them . I couldn’t believe they actually left the kitchen that way and was served to a customer. Would have happily waited for another batch. Although my first experience was a disappointment, I will give Ava another try …maybe dine in the next time.

Ava’s Bistro is conveniently located in the Rush Cycle shopping center on Marina Bay Drive. What I liked about this Vietnamese restaurant was how fresh the food is. I thought the grilled combo vermicelli bowl was inventive, with shrimp, beef, and pork on top of carrots, romaine and other fresh veggies on a bed of perfectly cooked noodles and flavorful broth. Their spring rolls were also crisp and tasty as were the rangoons, with plenty of crab. I love cozy eating places like Ava’s where you can relax, enjoy the comfortable atmosphere, and have great food right in your neighborhood.

Outstanding!! I ordered a pork Banh Mi and it was incredible! The French bread was perfect, crispy on the outside, light on the inside. Pork was tender and flavorful, veggies fresh and perfectly balanced. All in all, it was the best Banh Mi I’ve eaten in this area. (Oh yeah, it was huge! )

A hidden gem of League City. The service is always phenomenal. It has a beautiful atmosphere, perfect for a date night and the owners are always so friendly and welcoming. My favorite items are the crab rangoons and banh mi sandwiches. I make it a point to stop by once a week.
