I love Avanti’s. The food is so good and you can dine in or carry out or have food delivered. They do it all. My favorite food are their Gondolas. The bread is so fresh and loaded with the exact amount of ingredients to make the perfect sandwiches. I have also had their spaghetti with salad and garlic bread and have never been disappointed. If anything I eat too much yet have enough for leftovers which is a always a win-win for me.

I just had a horrible experience with my phone in order. I spoke with someone named Nicole who was in such a hurry of ending my order that she did not get the information that I wanted it for delivery nor did she even ask for my name. Granted it comes up with my phone number but she never took the time to even confirm it because she was trying to get me off the phone. It was the most unreal experience that I’ve ever had with them. I had to call back to even finish my order. The last few times I ordered from them their bread wasn’t good. I order from them pretty often but not anymore, from now on I will be getting my orders from the Knoxville location. I’m sure they’ll have a better customer service attitude. Then I just got a call to ask if I changed my order from pick up to delivery and I had to explain that she never even asked me before she hung up on me. I had to call back to get that part situated. This store location that’s on Sterling has really gone downhill. I am very disappointed with them!!! Customer service was horrible!!!

Best bread in Peoria, great pasta, all of it. The gondola is a great cold sandwich. I always get a cup of chicken noodle soup, never disappoints. I highly recommend this place for great food.

Avantis is always busy its Italian it’s the flavor that we cherished as young adults for the last 40 years spaghetti its delicious served hot with baked loaves of homemade bread and butter. Good to dine in or when you are to busy stop by for a good carry out. Hey can’t go wrong its Italian.

The quality of food and service has declined and service is unacceptable& managers like Ben are the reason these businesses are in decline. I initially attempted to make a pick up order but I was told they don’t accept cc over the phone, which was fine. So I VERBALLY ASKED “how much was delivery? ” so the lady who took my order told me how much the delivery was, asked my address (confirmed already in their system) and told me my order was ~42 and said it would be delivered in 25 to 30 min. The children waited on the porch to had the driver the money

Wow, has the quality of food greatly declined here. After coming in from out of town to attend a Memorial Service, I took the family for dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, and even though most dishes were okay, the Chicken Parm Sandwich my wife ordered was not only unappealing, she said it looked better then it tasted, and she only ate half of it. We should’ve sent it back! McDonalds has a better Chicken Sandwich!! Growing up in the Peoria area, I’ve been going to Avanti’s for over 45 years…, and if this is the quality of the food, now I get why the one at University & Main closed. I was greatly disappointed!!

I ordered food for a funeral luncheon at our church. I made arrangements with Jay, a manager in catering. He was professional, kind, knowledgeable and most helpful. He was right on target with the amount of food needed. The order was delivered right on time with an accommodating driver. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. I was very pleased with Jay’s help when ordering, food quality and delivery experience.
