I love going here. It feels like the neighborhood deli where you grew up and know everyone who works there, on a first name basis.

The deli case is always full with treasure just waiting to go home with you. The menu covers all your classic Italian dishes, plus more. The cannolis are the best I’ve had.

During my most recent visit I ordered the Off Broadway. It was incredible, melt in your mouth goodness. It’s so refreshing to eat a dish that still has a bit of a crunch in the vegetables. I’m not a fan of over cooked, soggy vegetables.

If you enjoy Italian food with a home town feel, this place will leave you wanting more.

Very quiet place. With awesome food.

Update: I have been here now about 5 times+ and every time is a repeat wonderful experience. Very consistent quality and service. There are SO many options on the menu and they all are prepared well and are very tasty. It just takes me a long time to decide what I want because there are so many great items to choose from.

The food is generally good if you can get past the cold temperature in the restaurant.

Since new owership, we’ve noticed the restaurant literally feels like it’s between 58 and 60 degrees. People sit with coats on and it feels like the air conditioning is on. When we told our server, she just agreed with us that it’s cold. Throughout both visits, we hurried to finish so we could leave due to the cold temperature.

The food is good but definitely overpriced, but works if you like leftovers. They offer many items in half portions but not the lasagna or a few other items. Lasagna is $13.95 and comes with nothing like salad or bread.

Local Italian deli style restaurant. Everything is just about hand made. Great tasting food. Simple beer selection that could be improved with some local crafts. Good neighborhood feel. Charlie and staff are very nice.

Very good food. Moved here from San Diego. Had lasagna to test the basics. Prepared individually in Au Gratin baker. Very good. Spouse had linguini with clam sauce. A must have. It was very good as well. Service was good as well. Will definitely be back for other menu items. Chef has very good skillet skills as clam sauce is very good. Highly recommend.

This is the first Italian restaurant my family has gone to since moving to the area, and to be honest we are hard pressed to look for another after having eaten here. The food tastes great, and the portion sizes were more than anyone in our family can finish. The service is also fast, and the staff very friendly.

It was ok but I found the food and service to be mediocre at best. It is a small Italian restaurant, lots of pasta dishes, sandwiches, pizza. (I got a pepperoni pizza and had to search for the pepperoni.) Carrabba’s is better and you practically pay the same price. 3 entrees and it was $60. IMO

My fiance is gluten intolerant so I spend A LOT of time trying to find restaurants that offer menus that meet my standards and her dietary needs. When I found out that Avanti Gourmet now offered gluten free options I was ecstatic – I have eaten there for years. The care they have taken to convert their menu to gluten free is evident in the quality of their pasta dishes and especially their pizza crust. They offer almost everything, short of their breaded items, in a GF option. I can personally recommend the pizza and the shrimp carbonara. The true proof though is in the fact that the fiance woke up the next morning without any gastrointestinal distress – there was no gluten cross contamination. Great atmosphere and welcoming staff make this restaurant a trip worth taking.

Ate here for the first time last week. Sat by the owner and chatted for a bit. Great food and locally owned. Better than the franchise Italian eateries in the area. Highly recommended but very small seating area. Get there early.
