Very good pizza. Great sauce, over all a solid brick stone fire pizza. Would absolutely eat there again would highly recommend. Not disappointed at all. No idea why they have such a low rating

They have VEGAN cheese! We love this pizza! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They have a real brick pizza oven and the food turns out amazing everytime.

We’re here right now, and got the pesto pizza. It tastes like a bag of frozen spinach. My brother took it back immediately and asked to either have a refund or maybe have just a pepperoni pizza made instead. The guy working said there was NOTHING HE COULD DO. You’re got to be kidding. I’ve been a kitchen cook, a cashier, a server, a bartender and a manager and a plethora of other positions while working in restaurants, and let me tell you, there is ALWAYS something to be done. Really lousy first time experience. And we left a tip when we paid! For what? To be unceremoniously denied any remediation for a pizza we did not like. Definitely never eating here again, but the bartenders right across from them are fantastic! They could learn a thing or two about customer service from them. What a colossal waste of money. I’d get a better pizza from little caesars for a quarter of the price.

Went in for dinner yesterday at Kern’s Food Hall in Knoxville. The staff was friendly and took our order. I got a cheese pizza for the kids. The pizza was blistered and the tops of the blisters were burnt black. It wasn’t a lot on top but the underside was burnt as well. It put that burnt flavor in the pizza. My kids wouldn’t eat it but I managed to eat some out of the center. I did like the sauce though. Also got a meatball sandwich that was a bit underwhelming. The meatballs had a light color and was possibly ground turkey. Again the sauce was good and the bread was good. Pizza and a meatball sandwich was $28.90 which was a bit steep for what we got. I’m from Chicago and have had excellent wood fired pizza and this wasn’t it today. Perhaps a little more training could get them there. I probably wont try again but places can always improve over time.

I do not agree with the people here, my pizza was very good, one of my favorites in Knoxville. Crust was perfect, fresh cheese, delicious sauce. If you want papa John’s go order it…. Don’t take to reviews because you don’t know what you want.

Easily the worst pizza in Knoxville. Prepare to pay premium prices for it to ultimately end up in the trash. Might be burned, might be raw, might be both. Not to mention customer presence seems to really inconvenience these guys. Don’t waste your money.

This was my second visit and both visits have been simply underwhelming, unfortunately. I want to love this place, but they either get my order wrong and overcook my pie, or they don’t balance the toppings and slightly undercook my pie. I love their pizza over and that style of crust, but they have a looooong way to go before I can claim that they are of high value and consistency. I will point out that the service has been excellent upon every visit. I’ll try it again and hope for some refinement and improvements.

Ava is located in the Kerns Food Hall and they have pizza. Delicious pizza. After watching two other pizza come by with theirs, it was hard to say no.
I chose the “Prosciutto” white pizza which comes with ricotta, mozzarella, red onion, arugula and a balsamic glaze. Somewhere under there was some prosciutto but not a big portion.
The pizza did not take long at all until I got my text message to pick it up. It looked fabulous and it tasted great.

Great authentic Italian pizza! The cheese on it was amazing, the sauce was ok , but overall I really liked it and will definitely go back.

Me and my partner decided to dine here for lunch, she ordered the vols pizza and I ordered the pepperoni. Overall I’d say their pizza scores a solid 4.6/10. The dough is under cooked, as well as the cheese. Redeeming qualities; the cheese is very fresh as well as the pepperonis and toppings. The undercarriage is very lacking, most likely from trying to get the order out as fast as possible. However for the price point i’d expect quality over quantity. My partner mentioned that they were extremely heavy handed with the buffalo sauce, it overwhelmed any flavor in her pizza.
