The food is fresh, made with high-quality ingredients, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality in every dish. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the whole grilled fish, which was perfectly cooked — tender, flaky, and simply dressed with high-quality olive oil that let the natural flavors shine. The sides were fresh and vibrant, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. For dessert, we enjoyed the chocolate soufflé, which was moist, rich, and the perfect sweet ending to the night.

My husband and I went on the Thursday before Valentine’s Day. There was a wait in lieu of having a reservation. The Nectar of the Gods drink was amazing which we had at the bar while we waited for our table. The ambiance, cleanliness and service was great. The food was amazing! It was pricey but we knew that going in. We will be back for another special occasion. We had the Haloumi and Hummus as starters, delish! Entrees were Branzino and Lamb chops delicious also. The Branzino had scales in it which made it less enjoyable worried of swallowing a bone. Other than that it was amazing!

First time in AVA very unique spot in the grove. The ambience is amazing, server Jasmine was giving us some recommendations on food items. She was super hospitable. Alice also came to the table to check up on everything. It was very sweet of them. Everything we ordered was outstanding. I’m definitely coming back for that truffle pizza, and the amazing service.

Ruben and Reith were an amazing duo! We sat down in the outdoor patio and it was absolutely lovely! Enjoyed they’re delicious brunch pre fixe with Mimosa experience which was so worth it, we left absolutely FULL and happy! Great place for group settings, birthday parties, date nights brunch dates. Great addition to the coconut grove area!

We went for brunch on a Sunday. We were seated immediately upon arrival, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent for the first 30 minutes. After that, no one paid attention to us. We ordered dessert, and it arrived two hours later, and it wasn’t even what we ordered. The waitress disappeared, and they charged us for items we didn’t order. The service was terrible. They just opened in Miami, and I hope they improve their service to match the quality of their food, which is wonderful.

Ava has done and incredible job of remodeling the restaurant space. The ambiance inside or outside (we sat outside) was truly incredible. Service was perfect even with shadow servers training. Service makes a difference and they surpassed expectations. The food was delicious…the fried zucchini (not big on fried foods) was light, thin and cooked perfectly. We opted for the lamb cops and salmon. Quality, flavorful and beautiful presentation. Going back for the salt crusted baked Branzino next week. We loved our experience.

We visited AVA Coconut Grove as a party of six to celebrate Valentine’s Day. While the atmosphere and food were great, our experience had some service issues.
When we placed our order, we requested several dishes, including two orders of Sea Bass. About five minutes later, our server returned to inform us that the dish was unavailable. When we asked about other fish options, we were told that there were no fish options at all. As a result, we had to choose the Yellowtail at Market Price.
When the food arrived, we did not have utensils on the table. Additionally, the guest who ordered the fish received their meal after everyone else had already finished eating. Unfortunately, no one came to apologize for this situation. When we spoke with both the manager and the server, they seemed surprised, showing a lack of communication in the service.
It is important to mention that ALL THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. It is truly a shame that these service issues affected what could have been a perfect dining experience. What a shame !! We never come back again
