Overall the food here is great. My lady is from Italy, so she is the real barometer of Italian food. She said the pasta dish she had was cooked perfect as the pasta was not soggy and had firmness to it. I had a dish with Salmon in it and I was surprised at how good size the salmon was…us fat american’s like lots of meat so good on them. The dish I had (see pics) was delicious and very well prepared and tasted good when it was all mixed together. My only complaint is that no pasta came with it and my lady reminded me that in Italy, pasta is a separate course or something. At the very end, we had tiramisu and some chocolate dish with gelato which was also great. Prior to the meal, we had some bread and the one crunchy bread was on point especially when the butter was spread on it. As for the atmosphere, the place is small and the tables are super close together so I don’t recommend any intimate dinners here as the next table will hear your conversations. Also, we were close to the door and it was cold so every time someone came in or out, it got a bit chilly. We sat for a few before someone came over to get our drink order and I’m currently not drinking and they didn’t have any non alcoholic beers…maybe an IPA that that’s some nasty crap so I won’t drink that when I’m desperate. Cool bathrooms. And this place is on the Resy app, so use your Amex.

Ok I loved this place first and foremost. I have to get one thing off my chest before I give it the amazing review. I ordered the Pork plate which was 96 dollars. Wanted to treat myself. Flavor was decent but the meat was tough. Was no way near worth that much. I’m
Sorry but no. EVERYTHING else was amazing. Pasta delicious and handmade, pate and tartare were out of this world good. Wine was top notch! Service? Excellent beyond belief. Out waitress was so nice and helpful. The Sommelier was also so nice and was wonderful to have someone to talk wine with at dinner.
All n all this place is wonderful. Will be back for sure. Just not for that Pork dish.

I love the waitress of the restaurant so much! They know we are really shy to celebrate my birthday, so they are always very nice and polite (not to loud) when they want to say HBD to me. They’re really sweet!
Fresh salad, yummy pasta + amazing dessert

Came for my birthday and had an absolutely lovely dinner. Really appreciated the zero-proof options and would definitely recommend the “pinky swears.” Between the two of us, we ordered 7 small plates and ran out of room for our entrees. So, would recommend just 3-4 small plates plus entrees for two people. Surprise favorite was the Corona beans, which we’ll order any time we come back. Cacio e pepe potatoes were pretty heavy on the pepper and the only thing I wouldn’t necessarily recommend. Fennel, beets, and greens were excellent. While the menu doesn’t explicitly identify vegan dishes/options, there were a number of options for my friend to choose from/that could be modified for vegan diners. Atmosphere is warm and inviting, staff is very friendly and helpful.

Dessert-wise the torta caprese was interesting, and I’m glad I ordered it. But it isn’t very sweet, and I probably wouldn’t get it again.

Thankfully the rotating menu means there will always be reasons to come back, and I am confident of a delicious meal, regardless of what is available. Will definitely be coming back!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Our experience here was amazing. The food is incredible, every dish we had was so good. What stood out to me the most was the great service! From the lovely hostess checking our coats at the door, to the sommelier who was very educational and also very approachable about his wine suggestions, as well as our server (l wish I remembered her name) who was fabulous! Shortly after we were seated I had let our server know I was the only one in our group who was gluten free and she let me know that she had JUST finished writing out the gluten free options on their menu, and I had caught her just in time. This was some of the best gluten free pasta I have ever had, and it was homemade! I had the linguini which was to die for. Dishes that stood out to our group were: broccolini, cacio e Pepe potatoes, rye cavatelli, tagliatelle, linguini and the cappelletti. Our group cannot wait to come back!

Another delicious and memorable dinner at our favorite restaurant in Portland. The preparations–and their ingredients–are so special, prepared with care and creativity. It made our night to sit at the chef’s counter and speak with Jeff, Sam, and the amazing team in the kitchen. Thank you to the entire team for making us feel so welcome and attended to. Looking forward to our next visit!

My husband and I love this place. Their aperitivo hour from 5–6pm is such a fun experience. We arrived right at 5, grabbed seats at the bar, and enjoyed wonderful cocktails along with delicious small bites.

The pasta dishes are absolutely worth trying, but do not skip the chestnut ravioli with brown butter sauce. It may honestly be the best ravioli I’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back!

The food was incredible! The best meal I’ve ever had! We got the pork ragu and the chestnut ravioli. They were both to die for. The bartender makes amazing whiskey sours with egg whites. We got tiramisu and their special cheesecake for dessert. Best tiramisu I’ve ever had and my fiancé loved his cheesecake. Our Sever was kind but very slow. We waiting very long time for everything. Additionally, her demeanor was a little too relaxed and it caught us off guard. We were expecting a bit more professionalism given the place and price. Nonetheless, I still give it an overall 5 star because it was so amazing, you have to try it!

Wowzers. This place knocked our socks off. The food is a flavor explosion in your mouth. Very seasonal. Couldn’t get enough. The staff is amazing. They take such good care of you. We sat at the chefs counter and enjoyed watching the cooks in their element. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Seriously cannot wait to return.

Truly one of the best, most beautiful and most delicious meals I’ve had anywhere. The service was also outstanding and the space itself is lovely. Special mention for their no-proof cocktail list, which features drinks that feel really special but without the booze. My only regret is that I didn’t discover the place sooner!
