I usually get bread, cookies and croisants from here at the farmer’s markets. The raspberry linzer cookies should come with a warning because they will be the only ones that exist in your universe once you have had them. That is what brought me to the actual bakery. They didn’t have them at the farmer’s market and I needed my fix before I left town. Wish I had come here sooner!

The place is adorable. A couple tables inside and a few more outside. You can get a lot of what they sell at the market but warmed up and served with a greens salad in a light pleasing dressing. I can personally vouche for the CROC monsieur. There are also sandwiches which they are not set up for at the farmer’s markets. I had the Jambon & Beurre with ham and was beyond pleased. The buttered baguette with ham and pickle has an honest flavor. We also had a turkey and Swiss on baguette which was very good. The prices are great. There aren’t many places where one can get a solid quiche, CROC monster or classic French sandwich and a good cup of local coffee for about $15 a person, not to mention the ambiance of dining at a little white clothed table outside or in front of a huge window surrounded by the awesome smell of fresh baked goods. It is a sensory treat.

At the farmers market I have had the savory and some sweet crossaints. Savory crossaints are harder to find and Remy does them right. We usually get a loaf of sourdough, baguettes and sometimes the herbed bread. We also get the linzer cookies, of course. The tarts are really good, too. (My mouth is watering just writing this.)

I have taken a loaf of “alligator” bread to a friend’s who has smaller kids. There is nothing more wholesome than watching children enjoy good bread with butter while being thrilled that it is shaped like a gator. If you are having a dinner with kids (little or the adult kind) the artisan shaped breads are going to be a huge hit.

The high quality of the ingredients make the bread not leave you a sluggish feeling after you have eaten it.

All around a must visit. I can’t wait to get home and visit, again.

This place is genuinely fresh and good food. I was having a craving for cinnamon rolls and found this place on Google. Now, many of my colleagues visit this place regularly as well. They have excellent breakfast items beyond sweets. I love the ham and cheese on the half baguette. I decided to eat there instead of taking it to go and last time I got some fresh leafy greens for a salad on the side. Play interaction with the employees has always been pleasant, and while I was there they were having a great time with one another while working.

I went to this French bakery with big expectations, since I love French food and patisserie. It was a big disappointment. I got a pastry with lemon custard and raspberries that was obviously frozen not long ago. I wanted a decaf cappuccino and they told me that they don’t have decaf coffee. The whole place looks super rundown, but the restroom was the worst. It was half a restroom and half storage, and the trash bin was a water bucket. I asked for the password for the Internet, and although they have three Internet names that employee told me that the owner doesn’t allow the customers to use any of them. This is not a way of showing French hospitality to your clients. I will never be back there.

The almond croissants are to.die.for. They’re so heavy w butter but delicate and delicious at the same time – the almond flavor …. Is present but not overwhelming and I could eat an entire basket full in one setting. A MUST try!!

SO DELICIOUS! we just landed from the airport and found this amazing sandwich and bakery shop. We all loved our sandwiches; the bread was THE BEST! everything was fresh and homemade. They gave our nephew a free snowman, pastry. 10/10!

For ten years I couldn’t eat any wheat flour products. I have been able to enjoy the pastries and bread here because the wheat flour is imported from Europe. Delicious and no tummy issues. Enjoy yourself here if you have been told you have “gluten intolerance”. A little bit of heaven.

It’s was a Saturday morning, I was picking up a rental car from Hertz. I was a bit early and was just sitting around waiting for them to open. I looked over and saw the sign Aux Delices Bakery and Cafe. Hmmmmm, so what do we have here? Yep I was hungry. Hadn’t had my coffee yet that morning. I thought maybe I should check out this tucked out of the way little Bakery.

I walked in and found a very clean, quaint little artisan bakery. I met Anna who was creating some delicacies. Very warm and hospitable woman. The assortment of pastries was quite large. Everything looked amazing. Well crafted and presented. Like little sculpted pieces of edible art.

I decided to try the Quiche Florentine with a cup of coffee. My wife ordered a few pastries for us to try. We had the fruit tart and a blueberry pastry. The quiche was very good! Right amount of spinach and cheese. The crust was excellent! I don’t like dry crust. I believe it ruins a baked food. Not this crust, flaky and firm. I have to say the pastries were just as excellent! The blueberry pastry was a favorite for me. The fruit tart was very good, my wife absolutely loved it. The fruit was fresh and the tart had a pleasing flavor with the perfect texture.

This is a place to try! It made my wait so well worth it! It’s small little local gems like Aux Delices that makes exploring our hometown so enjoyable!

Thanks again Anna for such a nice delicious morning!
