Today I was recommended a great new Brunch and catering restaurant in Murphysboro! I ordered online and picked it up in-store. The owners were amiable, and the food was delicious!!

The salad was so fresh, and the lettuce was cut smaller, which was nice! My chicken salad sandwich on a buttery croissant was terrific. It also had a hidden layer of flavor. I had not had in a chicken salad. It was good!

Tried this place out for an late afternoon lunch. I was impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I came in to have lunch around 1:45 in the afternoon, not knowing they closed at 2 (didn’t even realize they closed at 2 until I came to leave this review.) They we’re welcoming and inviting. My son had the kids grilled cheese and fries while I had to halves of different sandwiches. Both my son and I loved our food. The kids grilled cheese was a much higher level than I expected. The two types of chicken sandwiches were lite yet very filling. I highly recommend this restaurant for a quick and lite bite to eat for lunch. I cannot wait to go back!

We ordered a Thanksgiving feast to enjoy at a rental about 25 minutes away from Auvi’s. We live in another state and Haley was great with communication for almost a month before pick up. I was a little nervous being so far away and having never eaten at Auvi’s. Absolutely no reason to be! The food was absolutely delicious and everything was seemless. Everyone in my party of 8 raved about the food and desserts for days. We had plenty of food with enough leftovers to eat a few meals after the big day and still send some meat with each family when we all left for our home state. It was well worth it and we will order again next year if timing of vacation is the same. Regardless we will definitely drive to Auvi’s Kitchen for a meal if vacation isn’t same time of year next visit to the area.

Cutting Edge provided the catering for my daughter’s wedding. They were difficult to communicate with in the planning phase. They arrived to the venue an hour late which was a big deal since the ceremony was at the same location. They provided a grazing table that had very limited items on it and was mostly filler. This was incredibly disappointing as we paid a LOT for this table. It only included some meat and cheese, French bread, and some fruit. The servers were nice and efficient. However the food was not worth the cost.

First of all the space is so beautiful and clean. The owner is very friendly and kind. The sauces are top notch I would literally buy bottles of it. The pick two is a great value with a sandwich and a salad. There was also an amazing quiche with bacon and cream cheese. The rewards program is top tier. This is a wonderful local establishment.

Cutting Edge offers a simple but complete selection of brunch items that are very tasty. I had the quiche and pearl waffles. Delicious!! The staff and owners friendly and provide excellent service.

I definitely want to give a shout-out to Kyler Worthen and Cutting Edge Catering! The charcuterie board that was made for our Super Bowl party was amazing! It was beautiful, delicious, and there were no leftovers! The guests absolutely loved it! With sausages, cheesecake, cheeses, seasoned nuts, veggies, fruit, and of course, Fired Up Jellies and Jams! (And it was so reasonably priced – If I had shopped for everything myself, it would’ve cost so much more.) Thanks, Kyler, for giving my family such a wonderful treat, and saving me time and money!

We had them serve at the Murphysboro Middle School. Options were amazing, food was hot and delicious. They answered every questions and was super easy to work with. I would recommend them for any budget!
