For starters this is a small affordable option when you want Chinese. With that being said don’t expect more than what you pay for. Me and my Son got our lunch fill for 25 dollars I consider that in this market a fair price to pay for a lunch buffet. I was satisfied with the food everything tasted as it should the chow mein didn’t look like what most other places serve but the flavor was good. I had 3 plates and tried everything they had except the rice but my son seemed to like it. You’re options are limited but if you like what they offer then it’s good enough for what you’re paying. I liked the sweet sour pork and egg rolls but everything was good in my opinion. I would definitely come back.

I have been going to this autumn moon since I was little with my family members. Unfortunately I found a bug in the broccoli. Before anyone gets anything make sure their vegetables supplies are fresh

Established 1976, Autumn Moon may indeed be the original Chinese buffet in the Valley. The recipes, the architecture, and signage all smack of the hopeful simplicity of its day. The rice and chow mein, pale with the age before Yellow 5 became the stock standard… at least 3 of the chicken dishes are based on the fried and battered example seen here, which is fine considering how good it and the accompanying sauces are. Nothing there disappointed. The atmosphere, the other patrons, even the soda water had a certain charm.
By the end, I was satisfied with the knowledge that I had consumed recipes likely unchanged in 48 long years. Another feature on the floor of the Valley… worn by dust and time, yet undiminished.

30+ years ago I was a regular here, then moved away. Getting back in town & driving past I just had to stop for lunch. Ah yes! Fond memories returned! Small, simple, reasonable, good- what else is there? Lunch $12.50 & I feel like I got my money’s worth.

To all those giving this place high reviews, you are delusional. I dont doubt that this place was once a go to neighborhood buffet, but from what i experienced and ate today never ever have i had this horrible of food. The food was sitting and dried out, the flavor was old. When i asked for fresh entrées they where bothered and would only reheat what seemed small day old portions. You get a choice or flavorless rice or noodles.. and 3 different protein options..i rarely make a post like this and understand its someone’s livelihood but at least show some pride in what you cook and serve. Save your money stay home and eat some pizza roles instead.

1st timer here! Me and the boyfriend just moved to mesa and seen this in the neighborhood I have to agree with alot of the reviews. Its delicious! Yes its a small place yes the menu option is small but, the quality totally on point! Usually get one extreame or the other with rice and lo mien either its too bland or too much spice not here. Its in that perfect middle. I was concerned at 1st since the rice and noodles were pretty light looking but don’t let the color fool you. Yes they charge for soda refills but you get tea and water for free and do you really need 5 refills of soda? Just saying all and all id def recommend

Not a ton of options but everything is very good! I came at around 2pm, probably not a great time to get fresh food, but everything was hot and had good texture.
The egg rolls stand out as my favorite item. I will definitely be coming back.

A favorite from my childhood. A treat with family and friends. Great tasting food, friendly beautiful Chinese ladies to serve you. Go easy on the second plate. The sweat and sour pork is the best!

Went to this place for Mother’s Day because the Google reviews said it was very good and I’m not trying to be rude but a lot of you are lying… the food was mediocre but the service was really nice. They charge an extra $.50 for a refill of your soda which I thought to be a little crazy that it was a Buffet not only that but for 2 people & for two sodas it was $30. The food was very bland and little flavor the meat didn’t have the proper coloring and when I bit into the egg roll it tasted old and stale, there wasn’t even any soup and then they charged an additional one dollar for each crab off but you had to buy six so six crab puffs for six dollars panda express is less expensive. I figured for that price The food would be a little decent, but not even in the car ride home. I felt sick to my stomach and I’m already feeling not too well to put it in nicely we will not be returning not only that, but for the price of the buffet there was only about 12 items save your money, and go to hibachi buffet up the road.

One person with a fountain drink $15. Refills are $.50 for a glass full ice and little soda. No soups. Nothing is fresh. In fact, the 12 items to choose from look and taste like they have been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Sorry, but I won’t be coming back….
